Hi all!!!It's me again..Back with another OS😆Enjoy reading... MERI MAA...She was busy with the kitchen chores and completely lost track of time.She felt a strong pair of arms encircling her and gasped."Maan..aap bhi na.U scared me.."she said."Kyun..U expected smeone else??"he replied."Nahin toh..You're back home early.."she questioned him as she knew he'd be back home by 7."It's Friday right..so I thought Y not come home by 5."He replied."What!!It's already 5 and Maya has not returned yet?She comes at 4.30."she stated."Relax Geet.She's 15 and she knows how to come back.The driver will be waiting for her.Don't worry."he replied.Maya was their daughter.Geet would always so nts even for the small things concerning Maya.When he always asked why she behave like this,she'll always reply,"She's the only daughter we have!".He looked at his wife of 14 yrs.Still he couldn't get enough of her beauty.He sighed and tightened his grip around her.They were enjoying this moment of theirs until she heard a honk of the car's horn."Look's like Maya's back!"she said running towards the door.He grabbed an apple and followed her.Maya was furious.How dare they lie to me,she thought.She through her bag to the sofa.She was abt to yell for Nakul when Geet emerged.AT once her anger and rage resumed.It was increased only when she asked her,"Kya hua sweetheart?Why did u Come home this late.Were u stuck in the traffic?""Excuse me,Mrs.khurana.Who are u to call me Sweetheart,R u my mother?"she retorted.Geet froze.Maan was shocked.He knew one day the truth has to be let out,but they never thought of the results of that.Maan could sense the tears gathering in her eyes."Maya,is this the way to address ur mother?"Maan asked her rather harshly.Maya let out a hollow laugh."Who?She's my mother?And u r telling me to address her respectfully?Dad,I never thought U could lie to me.How could U do that to my mother?And u,"she said averting her gaze from Maan to Geet,"U cheated my dad saying that my mother was a cheat.You are responsible for her suicide.U r such a woman who could stoop sow low just to get what u...Slap.Maya looked at her father who had just slapped her.She'd never seen her Dad raise his voice even against her and now he had slapped her.She looked at maan."I never thought this witch could change u so much.U slapped me for the little pice of crap who can never be a mother and for whom which had brought me into these gates by faking identity.How could u dad?"Geet gasped before running to her room crying.Maan tried to stop her but couldn't.He looked at Maya."Come with me.I want to tell you smething."he said as he led Maya to the study."You're curious to know hw You came here,right?Okay fine.I'll tell you."he said making Maya sit in the chair.He went to a stack of old books lying in the corner of the place and opened an old box dated,1997.He opened its lid to reveal a note.He handed over the note to Maya and asked her to read it aloud.This is your daughter.I know this because You're the only one with whom I'd slept without any protection.I don't want to see her face ever again.-Sameera Mittal.Maya looked at him hoping to get some answers.He continued,"This was the note I got along with you the day after I got married with Geet.Exactly a year ago I'd been engaged with ur real mother,Sameera.I loved her like crazy and that's why we'd taken that step before our wedding itself.The night before our wedding I went to meet her and thats when I saw him.Sam's rightful husband,Eric Samson.I was heartbroken when I heard them talking abt their future.I immediately called off our wedding telling her that I knew her truth.After that incident,I vowed myself never to look at a girl in my life.And that's when I met Geet.It was an arranged mariage and smething about her told me to talk to her to share my pain with her.She was so caring.The morning after our marriage,she was on her way to the kitchen and that's when she heard the sound of ur cry at the doorstep.She instantly knew that it was my daughter.She explained the situation to Dadima and she also expressed her wish to take care of u like her own.I was amazed by the beautiful woman of mineYou told her she couldn't become a mother right?Theek hai,I'l tell u.U're the reason for that Maya."Maan told her as Maya looked at him with shock.***********************************
The whole mansion was decorated.There was songs dances and everything in full swing.The khurana household was rejoicing as it was the ghodh bharai of the eldest bahu who looked like a fairy with the glow that adorned her face.
Maya was 3 years old and was having a blast at the function.Though Geet was seated in a chair away from her,Her eyes were constantly around Maya.
Maan was instructing the servants and was also taking care of the last minute preperation.He caught Geet's gaze and assured her thru his eyes not to worry about Maya.
Meanwhile Maya was climbing up the giant staircase of the mansion and suddenly slipped.
"Maya!!!"Geet screamed as she saw Maya fall backwards.She got up from the Chair.
Her long lehenga slipped her foot and she fell forwards hittin the floor with a scream,"aaahhh!!!"
"Geet!"Maan yelled as he rushed towards her.Maya was oblivious to the happenings because she just got a scratch on her elbow and was escorted by Nakul to give her first -aid.
Immediately,Geet was rushed towards the hospital only to know that she'd lost the baby.
The whole house was devatated.They never thought something would happen like that.Geet was crying continously hugging Maan,as he did his best to soothe her while he himself cried.
Later that day,the dr. came in.
"Mr&Mrs.Khurana,we're really sorry to say that but the truth is she can't become a mother anymore.We're sorry."
Geet became a zombie and so was Maan.They couldn't comprehend their loss.
Since that day they were so attached to Maya,especially Geet.Maya was theur only ray of sunshine through the clouds.

Maya was shocked at the revelationMaan had just presented.She was a fool to have trusted NT,mother of her frnd Nandhini who was Sam's sister.
She looked at her dad who was still lost in the past.She knew what was to be done.She ran to Geet.
Geet was crying continousle.What if Maya too left her like Sohail,her son?She'd die if Maya didn't talk to her.
Maya ran to her and stood at a safe distance seeing her mother cry.She went close to her and called,"Maa.."
Geet stopped crying and looked at Maya who was herself crying.She stood up wiping Maya's tears and said,"You look like a typical cry baby when u cry,sweety"
Maya hugged her and poured her heart out.She never thought Geet could forgive her and constantly apologized.
Geet looked at maan and mouthed a thanku to him as he appeared near the door.
He came inside and said,"Agar mom-baby ki romance khatam hogayi,Shall I join ur group hug?"
"Of course Dad!"Maya said as Maan enveloped his two most beautiful women of his life in his embrace.
