Mihir-Tulsi, Om-Parvati, Jassi-Armaan' who can forget these iconic on-screen TV couples? While they will always be missed, we can't help drooling over the hot new jodis that have hit the small screen in recent times. Take a look and vote for your favourite.
Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain: The serial traces the story of two strangers, Priya Sharma and Ram Kapoor, getting married and gradually falling in love. The pairing may be unconventional but they have a huge and massive fan following, just like its title Bade Achhe Laggte Hai' Yeh Dharti, Yeh Nadiya, Yeh Rainna Aur Tu!
Vivian Dsena and Sukirti Kandpal in Pyaar Kii Yeh Ek Kahaani: So we all know that this daily soap from Balaji Telefilms is inspired by Twilight and Vampire Diaries. While it's quite sad that, like Bollywood even Tellywood is running out of original ideas, we must admit that the makers are doing a fair job. And yes, Abhay Raichand and Piyali Jaiswal look damn cute together.
Ravi Dubey and Aishwarya Sakhuja in Saas Bina Sasural: The first thing that strikes you about this TV soap is the title itself! As much as it's a relief that it isn't a saas-bahu soap, the bigger respite comes with the pairing of Toasti and Tej. They are young, energetic and full of life, something the younger generation can relate to.
Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande in Pavitra Rishta: Easily, a soap with maximum viewership, Pavitra Rishta is still selling like hot cakes after two years. And it's all thanks to the chemistry between Manav and Archana Deshmukh. It's too bad that Sushant is all set to exit the show :(
Harshad Chopra and Aasiya Kazi in Dharampatni: Believe it or not, Dharampatni is a contemporary life story inspired by Mahatma Gandhi and Kasturba! While the serial has yet to gain popularity, the lead pair, Mohan and Kastur Galla, is already making waves.
Jay Soni and Ragini Khanna in Sasural Genda Phool: While the story of Sasural Genda Phool may not be path-breaking (two strangers who fall in love after marriage!), what makes the serial interesting is its two strikingly opposite lead characters. Ishaan, a gentle and good-natured guy, paired opposite Suhana, a spirited and hot-tempered girl ' in spite of them being different they totally rock the screen with their chemistry.
Shoaib Ibrahim and Deepika Samson in Sasural Simar Ka:
She is an aspiring dancer and he is an established businessman. The
story of Prem and Simar is unconventional to say the least. We don't
know how Prem is going to come to terms with the fact that he actually
took pheras with Simar's sister without his knowledge (Simar had to go
for a dance audition), but we sure hope he forgives Simar so we can see
more of their romantic side!
Mohnish Behl and Kritika Kamra in Kuch Toh Log Kahenge: So this daily soap is yet to go on air. But the serial is already making waves thanks to its unusual story line. It's a love story revolving around two doctors from two different generations. Do you think Ashutosh and Nidhi will win people's hearts?
