Thank you so much for the beautiful comments. here is again a short update. sorry for that. but i will try to update the next part by tonight.

 

Part 22

When Geet reaches the Mandap, dadi hugs her and compliments her saree. Pinky scolds Geet for not being with her at the time of wedding and then she introduces Adi to her. Geet couldn't concentrate in anything. She keeps thinking about Maan while giving a fake smile to everyone. Dadi and Pinky notice the sadness in Geet's face and they misunderstand that Geet is still missing her parents. they fear that Geet will again break down if they ask anything about it. so they choose to leave her alone.

When Maan comes back to the Mandap, he couldn't find Geet anywhere

Maan: (st) yeh Geet phir se kahan chali gayi?

He again goes in search of her.

 

Geet is sitting in the moon lit terrace and trying to understand what is bothering her

She goes to flashback and tries to recollect whatever happened since the time she met Maan a month ago.

Flashback...

The marriage officer's words, ""Marriages are made in heaven and your's is not an exception"

Maan's FM Radio talk

She running behind the police jeep and crying for Maan

Maan giving her his kerchief when she was crying

He showing her his degree certificates and property details to help her to get rid of her fear

Dadi telling Maan to marry his fiancee," "Please Maan! jaldi use dulhan banakar apne ghar layiye"

Maan's words," Geet! as long as i am with you, no one can do anything to you."

how she lost herself into his eyes and followed him like a bride to the Mandap. she gets goosebumps thinking about the divine feeling she had gone through then.

It finally dawns on her that she is being attracted to Maan. she is shocked at her realisation and tears roll down her cheeks instantly. She tries to ignore the truth

Geet: (st) no Geet! yesa kuch nahi hai...there is nothing between you and Maan. you have met him for only twice...this is too early to feel anything for him...

She pauses her selfthoughts and questions herself

Geet: (st) do i feel anything for him?...What i feel for him?

She is too scared to conclude that she feels something for him and to give a name for her feelings.

In order to avoid any problems, she decides to stay away from Maan

Geet: (st) Geet! He already has a fiancee. you are not supposed to feel anything for him...Maan se dur raho Geet...woh hi sab ke liye acha hoga.

She wipes her tears; gets up and turns around to leave the terrace. She is shocked to see that Maan is standing in front of her.

Geet: (st) when did he come?

Maan: tum akele yahan kya kar rahi ho Geet? are you still missing your parents?

She avoids looking at him. but his concerned voice makes her cry. Maan notices her tears.

Her tears are doing something to him. he is annoyed that she keeps crying instead of enjoying her friend's marriage.

Maan: you are not yet done with your crying business. Are you?

Geet still keeps looking at the floor

Maan: main tum se kuch pooch raha hu geet

Geet couldn't stay there anymore.she fears that she will do something stupid and in turn maan will find out what is going on in her mind. She tries to leave the place. Maan grabs her wrist and pulls her to him. her heart skips a beat. she looks into his eyes which are already looking at hers; inspite of the semi darkness prevailing there, she could clearly see his intense eyes that are trying to convey something to her. but she couldn't face his gaze for too long and she turns her gaze away from him.

Maan: geet! a few minutes ago you were normal. Ab achanak kya hogaya? bolo geet! what is bothering you?

Geet  didn't reply this time also. Her tears keep falling on Maan's hand which is holding onto her wrist. Without his realisation, he lifts his other hand to wipe her tears. Geet realises what Maan is trying to do and she yells at him

Geet: chodiye mujhe

Maan ignores her words and brings his hand close to her cheeks to wipe her tears. she tries to release herself from his grip. but he tightens his grip and pulls her more close to him.

Geet: Maan! yeh aap kya kar rahe hain? Chodiye mujhe

He is no longer listening to her words. he keeps looking at her tears and touches her cheek with his fingers to wipe them. Instantly she closes her eyes and her heart beats fast as she feels his touch on her cheeks. Maan gently wipes her tears away. Geet is hyperventilating but she is not resisting him anymore. Maan places Geet's palm on his heart. She feels his heart beats which are as fast as that of her own. Then Maan rests his forehead against hers and closes his eyes to feel her breath on his face.  Geet could also feel his breath on her face. She has completely lost herself in his heart beats and his breath.
