Yashashri walks out of Chandragupta Maurya  
Post Rang Badalti Odhani, Yashashri Masurkar was thrilled to bag a historical drama Imagine TV's Chandragupta Maurya. But little did she know that she will not be utilized as promised. Therefore Yashashri has decided to quit the show. Apparently she was glad to get the part of Princess Mrignayni who falls in love with Chandragupta. But as the track developed, Yashashri realised her role didn't turn out as expected. Currently the actress is serving her two month notice period.

First it was Ashish Sharma, who plays the lead in Imagine's Chandragupta Maurya, who had decided to quit the show. However, later he stated that it was merely a rumor.

But the latest buzz surrounding the show is that it has another of its lead actor willing to step out. And it's none other than Mrignayani, the Princess of Takshila, played by Yashashri Masurkar. Sources say that the actress who was last seen playing the bubbly Khanak in Star One's Rang Badalti Odhani has put her foot down and is quitting the show.
