It's my first time writing an update ever, so please excuse all the mistakes. :) Is it too long? :/ Suggestions on how to improve next time's always welcome!
The show starts where it ended yesterday, with Preeto angrily starting to sew the salwar kameez for Rajbeer's special friend. Rajbeer goes back to Sonu and also sits with Biji for a while, but keeps looking at Preeto's reaction and smiles. Mein tenu samjhawan ki plays in the background.
Meeta, Ishu, Sonu, Rajbeer and Biji sit down to eat parathe, while Preeto's still working on the salwar kameez. A sweet moment between Biji and Rajbeer, where he says no to more, and she (being a true Punjabi) puts another paratha in his plate anyways :) Biji calls Preeto for luch to, but she refuses saying she'll eat only after finishing that sawlar kameez.
Rajbeer changes his clothes and gets ready to leave. He tells Biji he's rejoining his duty the next day, so he'll come to tutor Sonu during evenings. He tells Sonu to keep practizing till then. He says bye to Preeto too, but she stops him from leaving and hands him the dress.
P: Tumhare special friend ke liye jo special dress banayi thi na, woh tyaar hai.
R: Kya baat kar rahi ho! Ban bhi gayi?
P: Preeto hoon mein.
R: Pink! Is ko pehn ke bahut cute lagegi.
P: Hmm, bahut pyaari lage gi, bahut cute lagegi (obviously not too happy :P) Log to usse bas dekhte hi reh jayenge.
Rajbeer keeps staring at her.
She walks him to the door, and angrily locks the door right away. She turns, calls him Patthar Singh Fauji and walks away. Rajbeer knocks the door, and Preeto comes to open it. She asks him why he's back. And that if he don't like the dress, he should get someone else to make it (promo scene). She can't make it any better in such a short time. Rajbeer says the dress' for her. Woh special friend tum hi ho Preeto. And my favourite part of Teri Ore plays 'sacha ho dil toh, so mushkilein ho, jhukta naseeban paoon mein'. Preeto stands there completely silent, just staring at him. He takes her hand and gives her the dress. She still doesn't react, and he smiles towards her. She just stands there, watching his face, then the dress in her hand and back to his face again. He says a quick bye and leaves. Preeto still stands there looking after him, trying to understand what just happened. While she's walking back in, a big smile appears on her face :D
The next day Preeto wakes up, smiling to herself. She sees the packet on a chair infront of her and continues smiling. Ishu comes in, and Preeto asks her what time it is. Ishu says it's past 8, upon which Preeto asks her why she didn't wake her up earlier? Ishu replies that she tried, but she was sleeping so peacefully so she didn't feel like waking her up. It seemed like you were having a very good dream. Preeto says she only slept for that long since she went to sleep very late. Ishu tells her to get ready and have breakfast as Dhruv and Rajbeer's probably coming soon. They wanted to come early to take blessings from their parents before theit first day back. Preeto takes her towel and the packet with the dress and runs downstairs.
She tells Bani to shower fast and get out of there. Bani tells her that today she isn't late, but Preeto is. And the one that comes late will have to wait to shower - you made the rule. Bani eventually gets out and Preeto quickly gets in, with Bani wondering what's wrong with Preeto.
Rajbeer and Dhruv are driving to Preeto's house, with Rajbeer smiling. Dhruv notices it and tells Rajbeer that earlier you used to smile like a lighting - disappearing before you see it, but nowadays you keep smiling like a shinging sun. What's the reason? Rajbeer says he's happy cause they're rejoining their duty. Dhruv says no one's ever happy rejoining, and that he thinks it looks like a case of love. That's the only time a man smiles to himself. Rajbeer tells him he's talking nonsense, and it's better to listen to the radio. He puts on the radio and 'Kuch to hua hai' plays, making Dhruv laugh.
At the Dhillon's house, everyone watches Preeto coming down the stairs wearing the pink dress (which she didn't make with her entire heart and talent), and laugh at her. Preeto shrugs it off saying it's the latest fashion. Sometimes it's good for a person to change. Beeji tells her that atleast she should have shown it to them first, what will people think is they see it, as it looks like a mixture of left-overs. Her dad also tells her that it looks like while seweing a Punjabi suit, you've reached Madras. Preeto says it's a very special suit for her, making Ishu and Meeta immediately suspicious to why. Preeto shows them how easy it is to move your arms in it, how you can sit in which manner you want to. To change the topic, she starts talking to Meeta about breakfast. Meeta says she's done every preperations, and that when Rajbeer and Dhruv comes they'll start making parathe. Preeto smiles just by the mention of his name! Meeta looks at her and asks her how come she's gotten so interested in the kitchen lately? Preeto says it's nothing. Meeta tells her there's definitely something wrong, sometimes you forget Sonu's vacations, other times you forget to dry your hair. Just then they hear a car stop outside, and Preeto runs to open the door.
She opens the door and both Rajbeer and Preeto keeps staring at eachother (very appropiate parts of Teri Ore playing, btw). Dhruv breaks the silence by saying hi and lets her know that she opened the door before they even rang the doorbell today. She says she heard the car, that's why. Dhruv tells her that our car's stopped here alot of times earlier, but the door's never opened like this before. Rajbeer interrupts him from saying anything further and hands Preeto some books for Sonu.
They sit down to eat, and Sonu thanks her bhaiya for the books :) Preeto goes to Rajbeer and asks him if there's something she can get for him. He looks at his plate and tells her he has everything. Beeji tells Preeto to go and dry her hair first. She also asks Preeto why she's showering her hair every day now, as she could catch a cold. Preeto leaves. Rajbeer gets up to put away his dishes, and Preeto smiles thinking he'll say something about the dress now. He walks past her, but tells her the dress is looking nice on her. He goes to wash his hands and tells her she'll definitely win a fancy dress competition wearing the dress. Preeto reminds him that he got it made for her. He tells her that he saw how it turned out to be, so he gave it to her. But it's okay, you're looking very nice in it. Preeto gets angry at him, and tells him that for your rotten friend, only these clothes would have been appropiate. Rajbeer smiles looking at her angry face. Preeto asks him what he's looking at. He tells her that you look normal now. You don't look like yourself when you're not talking non-stop.
Dhruv comes to tell Rajbeer that it's time to leave. Rajbeer quickly tells Preeto that he did get the dress made for her, making Preeto smile again :)
Ishu get dhai and cheeni from the kitchen, while Dhruv and Rajbeer seek the parents' blessings. Beeji then feeds them dhai and cheeni, with Ishu smiling looking at Dhruv. Rajbeer gets a little emotional with all the affection he's recieving :)
At the IAF, Rajbeer and Dhruv are introduced to the rest (as they've shifted from Jaladhar to Amritsar).The chief tells them how important their location and job is, and how they're planning to work the following days.
Preeto's fixing something on the table, when she sees Rajbeer's file, thinking he must have forgotten it. She tries to call him, but can't get through, so she decides to go there and deliever it in person. She's not allowed to enter when she arrives, and the guard tells her to hand him the file and he'll deliever it. She says she'll do it herself. Someone else comes and tells the guard to allow her in. She goes arounf looking for Rajbeer. Meanwhile Rajbeer's still at the meeting. Preeto walks in there, leaving Rajbeer, Dhruv and Jogi surprised.
