Chapter 5:::Lay it all on me:::
Alina used her powers to keep Jeh the hell away from Abhay. There was no way Jeh would touch Abhay in her presence. Alina saw just how much Abhay had been through and all she wanted for him was a little peace of mind. Abhay deserved a little happiness and she'd hoped she was the girl to give him this. Alina had never felt this strongly about another guy before and knowing Abhay was a vampire and their deadly enemy made no difference to her. Alina never knew what love felt like till she met Abhay. He oozed of LOVE. He was the kind of guy she'd been waiting for all her life; to take her away from her prison into the light only he was living in darkness all around him and Alina wanted to be the girl to show him he can have a happy ending he deserves to have. It killed her to see how lonely Abhay really was. Tonight had opened her eyes to how someone as confident and sexy as Abhay could be so isolated from these so called humans who seemed heartless to Alina for being so cruel to an ANGEL like ABHAY. Alina had her mind made up. She knew what she had to do. Alina would dedicate herself to making Abhay happy in return for coming to her aid at the most crucial moment in her life when she'd needed someone the most he was there for her now it was her turn to play his Angel. Alina had already fallen for Abhay lapping up his humanity which was a refreshing change to seeing so much evil from her own sick life her family had forced upon her. Plus it didn't hurt that Abhay was so hot.
Alina found herself enchanted by Abhay's contradictory good self who was both alluring and repulsive at the same time making Alina find Abhay just this much more spellbinding than any human or supernatural being she'd ever laid eyes on. Abhay was simply a magical being who was captivating and now he was her soul prize. She hoped he was open to accepting her. His love for Pia had obviously not died down but maybe she could make a place for herself in his heart. For Abhay, Alina would stake her pride and life on the line risking him trampling all over her delicate heart.
Alina holds Abhay's hands to feel how cold they were and to give him a little comfort-U know Abhay i can see how all this is troubling U. I can help U through this as a friend. U are not alone in this. Whatever this is we can solve it together. Let me be here for U.
Abhay to Alina giving her a gentle squeeze-U are sweet Alina but i work solo. Its the way its always been.
Alina smiled sweetly at Abhay-Maybe its time U mend your ways Abhay. The rules of friendship works both ways. Your problems are my problems. Its a deal or we won't be hanging around each other no more meaning i have to deal with Jeh alone which i really don't want to do.
Abhay made a smirk at his stubborn new friend-U are a tough chick to deal with Alina. U drive a hard bargain. As U know my contract states i have to save damsels in distress so i can't let U down now can i?
Alina smiles sweetly at Abhay's little joke-So we are in this together from now ok. I can be your friend Abhay. Let me be there for U. (Alina mentally states in her mind-Maybe I can make a place for myself in the process and get closer to U) Now we have the whole night together. Werewolves don't need much sleep like vampires so we can sit and chat if U like or we can brood together. I vote for the first.
Abhay took Alina with him to his favourite spot in the jungle-This is where i do most of my thinking Alina. My very own safe haven. Its where i am never alone. My best rfreind is the moon itself. I tell him all my secrets and now i want to share it with U.
Alina beamed with love for Abhay-Its sweet. I wish i had a place where i could share my secrets and pain to.
Abhay pulled Alina towards him holding her slender frame against his-Alina any place can be yours it just has to mean something. If U want U can come here.
Alina hugged Abhay-Oh U are so sweet Abhay.
Alina took hold of Abhay's hand pulling him to see the waterfall bringing him memories of Pia again. How he tried to save her and heal her. How he proclaimed his love for her all the way to his emotional blacmailed declaration that he LOVED Pia.
Alina picked up a stone and started to throw it with precision into the lake where the waterfall made beautiful music. She made ripples into the water creating an effect with the moon-U try?
Abhay did the same placing a little too much power into it only splashing the water-I guess i'm not very delicate as i thought i'd be.
Alina held Abhay's hand-Here! (She showed him how to make ripples creating a wave effect by moving his hand back with hers and then at an angle arched down and then swayed his hands forwards) Release now!
Abhay smiled softening his features finding this was a stress buster-Thanks!
Alina gave Abhay her dopey loved up look whispering-No problem. No U try by yourself. I normally do this when i get worked up. I find it helps release all of my negative energy pouring into positivity. It only works under my most stressful periods but it doesn't calms ones anger.
Abhay tried to remember the angle Alina had kept his hand at and let go of the stone in his hand smirking with satisfaction leaping his hand in the air with joy-I finally got it. This can get very interesting. Shall we try with multiple stones huh?
Alina nodded collecting as many as she could with Abhay from the ground. Both aim together on the count to three and fire creating a whirlpool effect smiling at the other like little children.
Abhay sat down with Alina staring off into space reminiscing a time long gone-I forgot what it was like to have fun.
Alina mused sitting beside him now-Its because you've spent so long living in the shadows Abhay. It can't be easy never settling down in one place. I feel U. My story is the same except i am placed in solitude for my own good so they say and U live with the company of your vampire family but U are cut off from the rest of the world. I doubt vampires like to socialise with humans let alone other supernaturals based on your dark nature. But this will all change Abhay. I will make U change for the better. I will make U more sociable even if its just with me.
Abhay loved a good challenge-Oh is this a bet?
Alina gleamed in confidence-Oh take it however U want Abhay!
Abhay dropped Alina to her place a little concerned for her well being-Do U think you'll be ok?
Alina assured Abhay as she was about to enter her home-Abhay i have never felt so much security before in my life. In the space of a few days i have found my feet on the ground. I can handle Jeh. He maybe my older brother. A little aggressive at best but hopefully i have got the courage to face him.
Abhay still a little concerned-I'll stay out here until i know for certain...
Alina eyed Abhay sternly-Trust me Abhay just go! I don't want Jeh coming after U. Please just leave. I'll meet U in college ok?
Abhay nodded waving Alina off. His powers were useless around his old mansion. The werewolves had placed a heavy spell on this place.
He headed home where Chand was waiting for him eagerly for news on Alina front. He was sat on his armchair one hand tapping the arm of the chair and the other sipping his favourite blood drink. The fire was crackling away dancing embers teased Abhay's eyes but Chand's voice broke Abhay from his little world he was in.
Chand intrigued by Abhay's change in mood-So i expect Alina has made quite an impression on U?
Abhay rolled his eyes shaking his head-Dad leave it. I'm not going to even bother. Alina is just my friend.
Haseena skulked in the background racing to Abhay huskily finishing-Oh Abhay this is so obvious. U spend this long with an enemy.
Abhay finished-Alina is not the enemy mother. She is just a lonely girl who happens to be in the same boat as myself. (He ascends up the stairs and lays in his bed just staring at the ceiling then out of the window at his only friend the moon.)
