90210 Season 4 Ep01Full Recap & Video

Up in Smoke

Summer is wrapping up on 90210, which means we finally get to see some resolutions to last season's cliffhangers. Naomi's pregnancy is quickly brushed under the rug within the first minutes of the premiere, while her friends make decisions about attending college (or more importantly, nailing down sweet college housing).    Liam resurfaces from his boating adventure prepared to ramp things up with Annie, while Silver and Navid have decided to move in together ' but there's a catch. As for the rest of the relationships, Ivy and Raj are still going strong, while Adrianna snuggles up to a smug new cowboy who has found his way out to the West Coast. If you're ready to break down season four's most scandalous moments, just keep reading.  Naomi's baby free! Turns out Naomi's pregnancy was a false alarm, but Max's over-the-top joy at not having to father a child dooms the relationship between the beauty and the geek. Naomi is quick to move on, setting her eyes on the captain of the CU football team, but when he rejects her for her freshman status she decides the only solution is to buy a new manse, naturally. She gets back-to-school house shopping and then throws a party at her new pad. Liam proposes to Annie ' twice! Liam is back from the high seas and wastes no time committing to Annie by slapping a ring on the hood of her car. (Swoon!) Unimpressed by his proposal and the fact that he's been incommunicado all Summer, Annie turns him down, which prompts him to go all out on his second proposal with rose petals, violinists, and fireworks. It's definitely a romantic gesture, but I couldn't help but laugh when a horrified-looking Annie awkwardly crouches toward Liam, who is on one knee, to turn him down. Navid and Silver play house. Navid agrees to let his little sister Leila crash with him and Silver so that she can finish her final year of high school in Beverly Hills. The new roommate instantly ages the couple into parents, causing them to balk at the fact that Leila wants to go out at midnight ' gasp! ' and dares to have a beer! Uh, weren't Silver and Navid doing the same thing less than a year ago when, you know, they were seniors in high school? Annie may lose Marla's estate. Marla's family decides to contest her will, which means Annie has to defer for a semester from Carnegie Mellon. How convenient that she now has to stick around Beverly Hills and live in Naomi's mansion. Looks like Annie's bad luck is making her a little more bold in her college years, though. Despite waiting around all Summer for Liam, she's firm in rejecting his proposals, and she even asks out CU upperclassmen (and complete stranger), Jeremy. Adrianna tries to make nice with Silver, but ends up bedding a cowboy instead. Ade shows up unannounced at Silver's place in an attempt to patch things up between the two of them. We know Adrianna isn't the most stable of individuals, what with having switched out Silver's medication and contemplated suicide last season, but did she really think that showing up at Silver's place to apologize was going to make things better? Or, when that failed, that ambushing her at a party would be the right thing to do? Hurt, she runs into the arms of the new cowboy in town, who is also already living with Dixon and managed to get on Naomi's bad side.

P recaps...Rush Hour
In an effort to re-gain her status, Naomi rushes a popular sorority, where she, along with Annie go through sorority games. Annie finds out a shocking secret about new guy Jeremy that could affect her future. Liam decides to keep the bar he bought on a whim and has a surprise guest from Alaska come into town, while Dixon finds an unlikely roommate in country boy Austin, which could lead to trouble. The search for Navid's sister Leila forces Navid and Silver to enlist in Adrianna for help, much to the dismay of Silver.

90210 Season 4 Ep02Full Recap & Video

Rush Hour

It's pledge week on 90210, and that means Naomi and Annie perform all sorts of mortifying tasks to join the sisters of the most coveted sorority on campus. Naomi faces harder challenges than her friend, but gives it the ol' college try in an effort to climb the social ladder she's managed to fall so far off of in her first few days at school.    Out in the real world, a mysterious woman from Liam's past turns up in Beverly Hills, and Navid and Silver turn to Adrianna for help. To find out why and what else happened this week, just keep reading.  Naomi has a candlelit dinner with a pig. Naomi tries to recover from her status as the most hated woman on the CU campus by pledging the school's most popular sorority, which requires her to complete three humiliating tasks. She revels in the first challenge ' walking through campus in her underwear ' turning the quad into a catwalk, but doesn't fare so well at the others, which leave her disheveled after dining with a pig, and drenched in Gatorade by the football team. Her efforts are all in vain, though; the president of the sorority only had her complete the tasks as payback for Naomi having purchased the house the sisters wanted. Now instead of pledging the sorority, Naomi is pledging vengeance, and I can't wait to see what she has in store. Details of Liam's boating adventure begin to emerge. Liam decides to keep the bar he bought on a drunken impulse to escape the memory of his Summer months. The past catches up with him, though, when Jane, the wife of his now deceased captain at sea, lands in Beverly Hills. Did I mention that the captain died during a boating shift that he covered for Liam? Talk about drama in the high seas. To make matters even more complicated, Liam tells Jane he was falling for her over the Summer and kisses her. Didn't he just propose to Annie last week? Navid's little sister fakes her own kidnapping. Leila sends Navid a video claiming she's been kidnapped and that her abductors want $50,000. Silver is skeptical, but Navid lashes out at her, telling her that even Adrianna ' the girl who everyone hates for medication tampering, song stealing and various other offenses ' is more sympathetic. I thought it was a pretty low blow, but Silver decides to stand by her agitated man and turns to her nemesis for help finding Leila. Adrianna displays some pretty impressive investigative skills, and it turns out Leila fabricated the story all along in an effort to earn some cash to run away with her tattooed, older boyfriend. Navid ends up taking a loan from his sketchy uncle to pay the boyfriend to leave Leila alone, but I have a feeling his uncle is going to use the money as leverage to get back in on Shirazi Studios. Annie's college crush drops a bombshell. Annie continues to flirt with upperclassman Jeremy, meeting him for coffee, kissing him, and revealing details about her relationship with Marla. It turns out Jeremy is related to Annie's deceased benefactor, and he uses the information Annie provides against her, claiming she's responsible for Marla's death for having failed to tell anyone that Marla was suicidal. Dixon starts popping pills. Dixon may have passed up on college, but he pulls an all-nighter anyway, in an attempt to prep for a big meeting with an East Coast music producer. When his energy starts to lag, his friendly cowboy roommate Austin shows some Southern hospitality by offering him his ADD pills as an energy boost. Dixon refuses, claiming he's high on enthusiasm but when the sun starts to rise, he reaches for the prescription bottle. Judging from the six or so energy drinks that were sitting on Dixon's desk, I'm guessing he's going to have trouble controlling his intake of the medication.

P recaps...Greek Tragedy
Naomi is determined to get revenge on Holly for humiliating her and starts her own 'geek' sorority. Meanwhile, Annie needs to figure out how to make money quickly to pay for sorority-related dues as well as her legal issues. Liam and Jane grow closer just as Annie finds out about them. Ivy is angry at her friends' lack of compassion for her dying husband Raj. Adrianna reveals a secret which causes Liam to see her differently. Also, Navid discovers that his uncle is running a car theft ring at Shirazi studios and Navid tries to stop his uncle once and for all.

90210 Season 4 Ep03Full Recap & Video

Greek Tragedy

Naomi continues to plot her revenge against her college enemy Holly, and enlists the help of an unlikely group of allies to take the sorority president down. Meanwhile, Navid's revamping of Shirazi Studios hits an unexpected roadblock that could unravel all his hard work. To find out details of Naomi's latest scheme, Navid's business woes, and more just keep reading.  Naomi buys a sorority. Since Naomi is banned from joining the most popular sorority on campus, she decides to buy the charter of a struggling sorority made up of social misfits and promotes herself to its president. After giving the girls a few quickie makeovers, she one-ups her rival Holly at the annual Greek mixer by having a troupe of Greek soldiers carry her and her sisters into the event. Despite Holly's best efforts to turn Naomi's sorority against her, the girls vow to stick by Naomi's side. But Holly may thwart the revenge of Naomi's nerds now that she's armed with the letter Max sent Naomi, which reveals the details of how he broke her heart (and probably makes mention of her pregnancy scare, too). Liam moves on — quickly. Liam may have proposed to Annie last week, but he's already moved on with his lady friend from Alaska, Jane. Or has he? Despite having slept with Jane, Liam gets pretty upset when he sees Annie kissing another man. Later, he tells Annie that he will always love her, but their relationship probably isn't meant to be because things are so complicated between them. Less complicated, according to Liam, anyway, is giving it a shot with Jane, who is pregnant with a dead man's baby. Really, Liam? First marriage, now babies? It seems his biological clock is ticking at 18. Shirazi Studios is shady once again. Most of Navid's family may be in Switzerland, but the few relatives who have remained behind in Beverly Hills have managed to cause him quite a bit of trouble. This week Navid gets a brief respite from his bratty little sister, but his uncle quickly steps up to fill in the role of annoying family member, using a Shirazi studio space to run an illegal car theft ring. He convinces Navid that reporting the ring to the cops would only result in Navid and his staff — otherwise known as his girlfriend and best friend, Dixon — taking the blame. Rather than tell Silver the truth, Navid decides to fire her and only cryptically reveals that he's trying to protect her. Annie becomes an escort. Now that her inheritance from Marla is in limbo, Annie is broke and struggling to pay for important college needs, like sorority dues. A sympathetic sister takes pity on her and invites her to dine out with her "rich friends," whom she promises will pick up the tab. She fails to mention that her supposed friends are actually clients paying for the coeds' company, until she hands Annie a wad of cash. Annie's grossed out by the transaction, comparing it to prostitution, but when she learns her cut has covered her sorority fees with extra cash to spare, she decides to keep the money. How long do we give this new venture before it spirals out of control?

90210 Season 4 Ep04Full Recap & Video

Let the Games Begin

The Greek war is very much alive and well at CU, and on this week's episode of 90210, Naomi makes a power play for control of the Greek Council. The fighting between her and Holly is just as dirty as ever, getting more personal as the ladies go for the jugular (translation: they get exes involved). Meanwhile, Liam and Annie are battling money troubles, while Dixon's fighting for control of his concentration.    It's a fun, silly episode that's packed with plenty of bikini shots, the return of a major character, and one particularly salacious commercial starring Liam. Let's break it all down when you keep reading.  Austin and Naomi get it on. Naomi uses some sexy underwear to try to coax Austin into helping her train for the Greek games (is it just me or has AnnaLynne McCord been half naked more than usual this season?). Their little banter goes one step further this time, giving way to an animal-style hookup. Naomi seems pretty pleased about the situation, until Holly spots Naomi and Austin making out, and freaks out. Austin admits that he was just using Naomi to get under Holly's skin, but that is what Naomi wanted, right? Holly calls Max to get back at Naomi. The Greek games start to heat up with a Gladiator-style faceoff between Naomi and Holly. Just when it seems that Naomi has the upper hand, she spots Max in the crowd, courtesy of a phone call from Holly. Naomi's shaken, but one conversation with Max later, and the two are back together. There's some trouble in paradise though ' Austin still wants her, and Naomi can't seem to control her bad girl urges. I've always been a big proponent of the beauty and the geek, but now they seem boring by comparison to Naomi and her cowboy. Which guy do you like better for Naomi? Dixon's addiction gets more serious. Dixon is elated when Navid uses some of his dirty money to buy his friend some time in the studio, but he can't find his inspiration. When the studio exec suggests that Dixon doesn't have the focus he needs, Dixon knows just where to find it ' with the CU math geeks, of course. Despite constant complaints about his money troubles, he throws down 15 bucks a pop for some ADHD medication. Am I the only one who's tired of this story line? We've already seen drug abuse and the aspiring singer plot lines from Adrianna, and the whole thing feels a bit stale. Annie gets kicked out of her sorority. Well, that was fast. After Holly leaks the letter she found in Annie's room, Annie seeks revenge by throwing the Greek games and making way for Naomi to win. Holly immediately kicks Annie to the curb, which means Annie can't get the Kappa scholarship she's had her eye on. Suddenly the idea of being a paid escort becomes a lot more attractive to her. Surprise! Jim is back from the dead. Adrianna's ho-hum life as a waitress in an empty bar gets a little interesting when she meets a handsome stranger on the beach. Though he seems friendly at first, Ade understandably gets the creeps when he starts asking personal questions about her relationship with Liam ' and panics even more when the dude starts getting lurky outside the bar after closing. Turns out he's not a stalker after all, but Jane's long lost dead husband. Something tells me he's not going to be happy to learn that his wife has been shacking up with his former friend, but it seems like the whole Jane story line is just an obstacle before Liam and Adrianna get together. (Despite what Ade says, no brother and sister have sexual tension like these two.

P recaps...Party Politics
Silver has the opportunity to create campaign videos for political candidate Marissa Harris-Young, who is running for public office against Teddy's uncle Charles. Teddy runs into an old flame and Annie gets stuck with Leila while on an important date. An unexpected visitor threatens to hurt Liam and Jane's relationship, and Naomi struggles to control her growing feelings for Austin during a party to encourage students to vote.

90210 Season4 Ep05Full Recap & Video

Party Politics

hosting a "Strip to Vote" party that had more than one character shedding their clothes during the episode. Meanwhile, Annie continues to explore escorting, and Silver lands a new job but reconsiders her relationship with Navid.    To find out who found themselves in their skivvies and why Silver and Navid's relationship is in trouble, just keep reading.  Teddy's back in Beverly Hills. After a few months of traveling in Europe for a tennis tournament that included making time for Summer loving with a new beau in Barcelona, Teddy's found his way back to the 90210 zip code. His Barcelona boyfriend, Shane, has also serendipitously ended up in the neighborhood working for congressional candidate Brandy Marissa Harris-Young, who just so happens to be running against Teddy's conservative uncle. Shane gives Teddy a hard time for supporting his uncle, who is against gay marriage, but Teddy, who never heard back from his father after coming out to him, is reluctant to sever ties with the only family he has left. Jim punches Liam. Jim presents his alive-and-well self to Liam and Jane, who strangely only seem moderately surprised to see him back from the dead. When Adrianna spills the beans about how long he's been around, Liam confronts Jim and the two end up brawling in front of Jane, who gets knocked over during the fight and is rushed to the hospital. Jim and Liam have a weird bro moment in the hospital waiting room but end up apologizing to one another. In the end, Jim forgives Liam, claiming that it's OK he slept with his wife, because he was, after all, looking after Jane while she was pregnant with his baby. Annie drags Leila along on her escorting gig. Say what you will about Annie and her new after-school job, but you can't call her a bad friend. She helps Silver and Navid in their desperate need to hook up by agreeing to babysit Leila, despite the fact that she has an escorting gig on the same night. There begins Annie's misadventures in babysitting, which include preventing Leila from participating in drinking, smoking, and skinny dipping. To make matters worse, Leila figures out Annie's secret, and though she promises not to tell anyone, I don't trust her one bit. The girl faked her own kidnapping — how has she not been shipped off to Sweden yet? The cowboy tries to corral Naomi. Max and Naomi may be an item again, but that doesn't mean Austin is backing off. He volunteers to help her sorority throw a party to get people to register to vote, suggesting a a racy "Strip to Vote" theme, but it's he and Naomi who end up in their underwear when they're locked in the back of a hot van. Austin confesses it kills him to see Naomi with Max, and the two nearly kiss until Max interrupts the moment by throwing open the doors of the van. Between that moment and Naomi's sex dream, it's pretty clear that her subconscious already knows what she's unwilling to admit to herself. Silver and Navid take a break. After Silver discovers a stash of cash in her closet, she confronts Navid about it, who tells her about the illegal car ring his uncle has been running at Shirazi Studios. His refusal to go to the cops is a dealbreaker for Silver, who doesn't seem to care that he'll be implicated in the crime if he reports the ring and decides to move out. It seemed a little harsh to me, but then again, Silver could probably still hear that idealized messages of fighting for worthy causes from her new boss ringing in her ears.

90210 Season4 Ep06Full Recap & Video

Benefit of the Doubt

who seem to fall face first into money and fame. Between Liam landing a modeling gig without so much as trying, and Dixon magically booking a guest spot on Billy Bush's radio shows, it was just another typical week in Beverly Hills. Even the blacklisted Adrianna found herself back in the limelight after a long hiatus from performing.    Annie's luck is also looking up when she finds a wealthy, new friend ' or is he a client? Let's discuss when you keep reading.  Liam becomes a male model. When slinging drinks fails to earn Liam enough to live on, he decides to take a modeling agent up on her offer for a few jobs. Modeling isn't exactly new to Liam ' remember when he stood shirtless in a boutique window to make some extra cash during high school and was so embarrassed he quit? He doesn't fare much better this time around, refusing to drop his pants for his first shoot and earning the nickname "droopy drawers" on the set. He complains when he makes $200 for about a minute's worth of work, which includes the saddest attempt to raise the roof I've ever seen. When the client ends up using a photo of him for a billboard, he's shocked to receive a check for $10,000. Max dumps Naomi. Ivy decides to throw a benefit talent show in an attempt to raise money for an experimental treatment for Raj. Naomi becomes hellbent on winning when she discovers Austin's new girlfriend Kellie Pickler Sally is competing for first place. She ropes Max into performing a magic show with her, but when he figures out Naomi's motivations, he pulls an actual disappearing act when he dumps her and leaves her standing alone on the beach. The kicker? Sally is actually Austin's cousin. Annie falls for an older man. An overheated car and a parking ticket are all the excuses Annie needs to book another escorting gig, but she gets more than a paycheck when she falls for her significantly older client Patrick. Apparently, a whopping two dates is all it takes for the wealthy tech mogul to make Annie feel "alive." The two spend the night together with Annie refusing to accept any money, but when Patrick makes a sizable donation towards Raj's benefit in her name, it's clear Annie feels a transaction has taken place. Was anyone else more grossed out by the fact that the guy looked older than Annie's father? I literally cringed every time they embraced. Dixon's almost famous. Despite the fact that his demo has only been on Cobra Starship's website for a "second," Dixon somehow manages to book a spot on Billy Bush's radio show and headline Raj's benefit concert. People even start chanting his name, but he's late taking the stage due to an ADD drug haze that causes him to have a nosebleed. Adrianna swoops in to save the day ' perhaps a little too readily for someone who claims she panics every time she's tried to sing after her song-stealing scandal ' and performs new material. Could this signal a comeback for Ade? Navid turns himself into the cops. When Navid discovers that Leila is still seeing bad boy Darius (and that borrowing money from his uncle and losing Silver was all in vain), he hauls his uncle's stolen cars out of Shirazi Studios and kicks him out of his life. (Now if only Navid would do the same with that bratty sister of his.) When his uncle tries to coerce him back into the shady business by threatening Silver, Navid turns himself into the police, who claim they can't help him unless he brings them hard evidence. Navid agrees to go under cover to expose his uncle, but he can't tell anyone including Silver about his mission, which I'm sure will ultimately harm rather than help his relationship her.

90210 Season4 Ep07Full Recap & Video
It's the Great Masquerade, Naomi Clark

the gang gets outfitted for Naomi's big masquerade party. As usual, there's plenty of issues being masked this week (see what I did there?), from Dixon's drug problem to Holly's true intentions.    It's not an episode that's heavy on major moments, but there's definitely some relationship drama as a few couples grow closer together, while Silver and Navid drift further apart. Let's break it down when you read more.  Silver and Navid call it quits. Silver decides to give Navid one last chance, but Navid's new undercover plan gets in the way of the reunion. When the happy couple are all ready to hit the masquerade dressed as a hot dog and bun, Navid gets a call from his uncle and skips the bash. As Navid is begging to get back in the car-stealing business (so he can get some proof), Silver catches him in the act. In an effort to prove himself to his uncle, Navid dumps Silver on the spot. Adrianna puts Dixon to the test. After a long day of getting harassed for being a pop-star-has-been, Adrianna takes it upon herself to check on Dixon and his drug addiction. Though Dixon pushes back when she starts after-school specialing him, Adrianna makes him prove his innocence by handcuffing herself to him for 24 hours. Things get a little touchy-feely when they're telling secrets before bed (though really I'm more interested in how they managed to go to the bathroom). Ade is proud when Dixon manages to stay sober for a full day, but the second she releases him, he finds the closest drug dealer he can find. I was convinced that Liam and Ade were on the fast track to coupledom, but now it looks like Dixon has a fighting chance. Who would you rather see her with? Holly gets Naomi kicked off Greek Council. In order to get CU recognized for being a party school, Naomi decides to plan a huge masquerade party to win an online contest. She begrudgingly recruits the help of her rival Holly, and as soon as Holly mentions "revenge," you know she's not talking about some brats from cheer camp. Sure enough, Holly manipulates the confessional booth at the party to broadcast Naomi's love note to Austin for all of the school (and the Internet) to see. After Naomi has her ejected from the bash, Holly returns with the dean, who not only shuts down the party, but gets Naomi kicked off the Greek Council (thanks to the strippers Holly ordered to close out the show). It's not a total loss for Naomi; though, Austin eventually sees her video love note and plants a big kiss on her. Liam lets his pretty face go public. Thanks to his commercial and ab-tastic new campaign, Liam is essentially fighting off the ladies left and right. Despite his new recognition, he rejects an offer from his agent to put his face on a billboard, claiming that he doesn't want to end up like Adrianna (ouch). Money rules all in the end though, and Liam signs the contract and gets the motorcycle that he's been eying. Now that his mug is all over America, does this mean his bar-keeping days are over? Patrick tries to control Annie. In week two of Annie's creepy new relationship, Patrick shows his arrogance by doing things like ordering dinner for her and making comments about her clothing. When he tries to convince her to skip Naomi's masquerade to hang out with him, Annie puts her foot down and asks that he stop treating her like a prostitute. To make it up to her, he comes to the masquerade dressed as a man in a barrel (that's rich person code for hobo), and promises not to use money to win her over anymore. I don't trust this guy for a second; not only is he totally skeevy, but he and Annie have zero chemistry together. Next, please! There's also the issue of Ivy and her new photography teacher, though I'd be bummed if she cheats on Raj — they're just too cute together to let some hipster get in the way.

90210 Season4 Ep08Full Recap & Video

Vegas, Maybe?

when they take an impromptu trip to Vegas, but drama always seems to find them. Naomi spends most of her time trying to get Austin to pay attention to her, while Dixon sweats his way from casino to casino as he tries to resist the temptation to do drugs.    Elsewhere on the strip, one gal catches her beau in the arms of another woman, and someone elopes! But what happens in Vegas doesn't stay in Vegas because I've got all the episode's juiciest details when you keep reading.  Navid passes his uncle's test. When Navid's uncle learns he's traveling to Vegas, he entrusts him with a very important package that he must deliver to a client. Everyone makes fun of Navid for spending the entire trip guarding his "murse," (would it have killed him to throw it in a backpack?), but Navid takes his task very seriously, believing the package could contain the evidence necessary to put his uncle behind bars. Instead, the package contains socks and is only meant to test Navid's loyalty to his uncle. Even worse, the undercover detective Navid is working with is forced to make out with him to prevent their cover from being blown when Silver walks in on their meeting. Now that Silver thinks Navid's moved on, will she do the same? Naomi follows Austin across state lines. Naomi's finally roped her cowboy, but it looks like the two won't be riding off into the sunset anytime soon. When Austin fails to invite Naomi to his birthday trip to Vegas, she handles the situation as only Naomi would: with a Sin City ambush. Once there, she sneaks her way into the birthday party hosted by Austin's dad, country legend Judd Ridge (Billy Ray Cyrus), and only then does she realize why Austin's been hesitant about including her in the festivities. Turns out Austin's dad isn't quite the Southern gentleman his son is, spending most of his time ogling Naomi and putting down his the birthday boy. Naomi retaliates by telling him off, which only angers Austin, who storms off. Teddy gets hitched. When Teddy runs into his Barcelona boy toy Shane again, the pair are willing to look past their political differences and give dating a shot. Silver's there to help speed things along, inviting Shane on the group's trip, and even booking them a wedding in a Vegas chapel. Though the ceremony is merely symbolic — Silver only wants to give Teddy a taste of the "normal" life he fears he will never have — the wedding footage Silver captures and accidentally sends to her boss could nevertheless prove disastrous for Teddy's conservative uncle, who is running for congress. Dixon hooks up with Adrianna! Like Liam, I'd totally forgotten about Dixon's gambling problem (remember his stint betting on basketball games?), but it's his newfound addiction to ADHD medication that poses the real problem for him in Vegas. Though Dixon tries hard to control himself, all bets are off when Vinny Guadganino (who's far from his home on Jersey Shore) introduces him to a drug-dispensing concierge at a poker room bar. Dixon returns to his hotel room with a stash of drugs and is on the verge of consuming them when Adrianna bursts through the door and distracts him by falling into bed with him. Annie reconsiders her relationship with Patrick. Annie's thrilled when she discovers Patrick's in Vegas for a business conference, but decides to dump him when she spots him with another woman. Things only get worse for Annie when she finds out her brother's been hiding a drug addiction. She vows to get Dixon to rehab, but at what cost? Just as soon as she's decided to break things off with Patrick, she's accepting his call and telling him she's missed him. Will she start taking Patrick's money — and essentially become a prostitute — to help her brother out?

90210 Season4 Ep09Full Recap & Video

A Thousand Words

Teddy unwillingly fills that role in his conservative uncle's race for Congress. There are plenty of other issues, of course, including Annie taking a shocking new turn with her relationship with Patrick.    Meanwhile, Dixon tries to sort out his life by dealing with his addiction and feelings for Adrianna head on, and Ivy and Raj, receive good news. Let's break it all down when you read more.  Teddy's wedding video makes the local news. When Silver's footage of Teddy's wedding is leaked to the media, he instantly blames his new beau Shane. Little does he know it was Silver's boss Marissa who leaked the tape after Silver accidentally emailed it to her. Marissa has no problem admitting that she was the source of the leak after Silver confronts her, even making a case that she did it for the greater good. Her twisted logic is no help to Silver, who can't get Teddy to forgive her after she tells him the truth. Liam lands a new modeling account. Is it me, or is Liam a little bit of a diva this week? He turns down every modeling gig his agency offers him until he learns he can drive a race car as part of a new cologne campaign. He's all smiles until he throws a Hollywood-style hissy fit when he learns he's not actually allowed to get behind the wheel of the car, or participate in any dangerous activities that might damage his pretty little mug. In another diva move, he takes his anger out on his agent's assistant who trails him to make sure he doesn't get into trouble, until he ditches her to sneak into the racetrack with Teddy. When the police catch the pair, Liam breaks his leg in an attempt to flee. Newly injured, he can't complete the cologne campaign, which costs his agency $200,000. He has to take on a new campaign to work off the debt, and it's one that's sure to deflate his expanding ego: romance novel cover model. Ivy's headed to New Guinea. Ivy's photography teacher Nick encourages her to enter CU's photography showcase competition, which offers a first place prize of a trip to New Guinea with a professional photographer. Ivy's visibly uncomfortable when Nick first breaks the news of the contest, but I'm guessing that's got more to do with the oh-so-obvious sexual tension between her and her teacher than the prospect of leaving Raj while he's undergoing cancer treatment. Ivy enters the contest and wins, only to find out that the photographer set to travel with the winner is none other than Nick. Shortly after the showcase, Raj receives news that he's cancer-free, which opens the door for Ivy to travel to New Guinea. But does it also mean that a less guilt-ridden Ivy might get into trouble while she's abroad with Nick? Dixon heads to rehab. Dixon agrees to head to a cushy, resort-like rehab center in Santa Barbara, but not before trying to secure a relationship with Adrianna. He tells her he has genuine feelings for her and that he hopes she didn't only sleep with him as a means of distracting him from drugs in Vegas. It's a cute, bold admission, but Adrianna fears he's still using and that the drugs are making him say things he doesn't mean. Though she admits she has feelings for him, she decides to put their relationship on hold until he's through with his treatment. Annie's officially a prostitute. Dixon's rehab comes with a hefty price tag of $40,000, and Annie takes it upon herself to put together the $10,000 deposit. She tries to play nice with sugar daddy Patrick, but ends up confronting him about catching him cheating in Vegas. Patrick shows no remorse, telling Annie she's "special to him," but that he has different women in different cities. When Annie fails to raise the $10,000 on her own by auctioning her stuff online, she goes back to Patrick, essentially telling him she's fine with exchanging sex for money. The next morning she wakes up to Patrick leaving a $10,000 check on the bed.
