New question:

Does anybody know the age relationship b/w Krishna, Balaram & the Pandavas?  Was Balaram older than Yudhisthir?  What about Krishna?  Was he older than just Arjun, Nakul & Sahadev but younger to Yudhisthir & Bhima, or was he older than all 5 of them?  How about wrt Karna?  Was Karna older than Balaram?  Or Krishna?

Any ideas, anybody?

Karna was clearly the eldest.

Krishna was younger than Yudhishtir and Bhima but older than Arjuna, Nakula and Sahadeva.
Balarama- not sure since he is supposed to be only one year elder to Krishna- but Bhima regards him as his Guru and seeks Mace training from him.

as far i know

Subhadra is Krishna's half sister.
she was born to Vasudeva and Rohini after the release of vasudeva by krishna from kamsa's prison...
she was born later hence very young to her brothers. she was born and raised in mathura...

Thanks.  According to SB, did Arjun then take Vajra to Mathura or Indraprastha?  (MB has Indraprastha)

This is what I could find about Krishna and 8 principle wives and sons from Wikipedia. Link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Krishna

Rukmini's 10 sons were

The first son of Queen Rukmini was Pradyumna, and also born of her were Charudeshna, Sudesna and the powerful Charudeha, along with Sucharu, Charugupta, Bhadracharu, Charuchandra, Vicharu and Charu, the tenth (SB 10.61.8-9). Of them, Pradyumna was the crown prince of Dwaraka.

The ten sons of Satyabhama were Bhanu, Subhanu, Svarbhanu, Prabhanu, Bhanuman, Chandrabhanu, Brihadbhanu, Atibhanu (the eighth), Sribhanu and Pratibhanu.

Samba, Sumitra, Purujit, Satajit, Sahasrajit, Vijaya, Citraketu, Vasuman, Dravida and Kratu were the sons of Jambavati. These ten, headed by Samba, were their father's favorites.

The sons of Nagnajiti were Vira, Candra, Asvasena, Citragu, Vegavan, Vrisha, Ama, Sanku, Vasu and the opulent Kunti.

Sruta, Kavi, Vrisha, Vira, Subahu, Bhadra, Santi, Darsa and Purnamasa were sons of Kalindi. Her youngest son was Somaka.

Madra's sons were Praghosha, Gatravan, Simha, Bala, Prabala, Urdhaga, Mahasakti, Saha, Oja and Aparajita.

Mitravinda's sons were Vrika, Harsha, Anila, Gridhra, Vardhana, Unnada, Mahamsa, Pavana, Vahni and Kshudhi.

Sangramajit, Brihatsena, Sura, Praharana, Arijith, Jaya and Subhadra were the sons of Bhadra, together with Vama, Ayur and Satyaka.

Diptiman, Tamratapta and others were the sons of Lord Krishna and RohiniAbout Pardyuma's wikipedia has a good narration: here's the link

Rukmini : princess of Vidarbha, Krishna's first wife and said to be incarnation of Goddess Laxmi.

she had 10 sons : Pradyumna, Charudesna, Sudesna, Charudeha, Sucharu, Charugupta, Bhadracharu, Charuchandra, Vicharu and Charu
None of them were inferior in their qualities to their divine father, Lord Krsna
and one daughter Charumati (later married to Krutavarma's son. ) (charu means beautiful)

Jambavanti : daughter of bear king Jambavan (from ramayana) . krishna's second wife.

her 10 sons : Samba, Sumitra, Purujit, Satajit, Sahasrajit, Vijaya, Citraketu, Vasuman, Dravida and Kratu. Lord Krsna was specifically very affectionate to the sons of Jambavati.

Satyabhama : Krishna's third wife

her 10 sons : Bhanu, Subhanu, Svarbhanu, Prabhanu, Bhanuman, Candrabhanu, Brhadbhanu, Atibhanu, Sribhanu and Pratibhanu.

Satya : princess of Kosala
her 10 sons : Vira, Candra, Asvasena, Citragu, Vegavan, Vrsa, Ama, Sanku, Vasu and Kunti. Amongst all of them, Kunti was very powerful.

Kalindi : daughter of a king .
her 10 sons :Sruta, Kavi, Vrsa, Vira, Subahu, Bhadra, Santi, Darsa, Purnamasa and the youngest, Somaka

Lakshmana : princess of Madra. I think she was daughter of Shalya (mama of Pandavas. his sister Madri was Pandu's second wife and mother of Nakul and Sahadev) . Krishna won her in swayamvar just like Draupadi's.

her 10 sons :Praghosa, Gatravan, Simha, Bala, Prabala, Urdhvaga, Mahasakti, Saha, Oja and Aparajita

mitravinda : princess of avanti

her 10 sons ; Vruka, Harsa, Anila, Grudhra, Vardhana, Unnada, Mahamsa, Pavana, Vahni and Ksudhi

Bhadra : princess of Kaikeya , she was also Krishna's cousin.

her 10 sons :Sangramajit, Brhatsena, Sura, Praharana, Arijit, Jaya, Subhadra, Vama, Ayur and Satyaka.

Besides these eight chief queens, Krsna had 16,100 other wives, and all of them had ten sons each.

The eldest son of Rukmini, Pradyumna, was married with Mayavati from his very birth, and afterwards he was again married with Rukmavati, the daughter of his maternal uncle, Rukmi. From this Rukmavati, Pradyumna had a son named Aniruddha. In this way, Krsna's family--Krsna and His wives, along with their sons and grandsons and even great-grandsons--all combined together to include very nearly one billion family members.

i have given abt his family in a new topic. in bhagavatam they say Krishna had 10 sons from each of his 16108 wives.

now one thing. when they started the show , they were saying it's a show that will cover his life as a king of dwarika and his life journey post he defeats kans.

http://www.imagine.tv/in/shows/subhome/179/3995

so may be rukmini will be there now only as a mother of Pradumna. and SB , being more entertaining, will be always there with him as his queen.

Krishna had a daughter from each of his 8 major queens, if not all.  Does anyone know the names of his other daughters?
