How did her life become so complicated?
She loved her father and that was the crux of the whole matter, going against his wishes was something she could never think of. Scared she was not, but he was such a prominent figure that whatever she did reflected on him. She knew the responsibilities of being the daughter of such a prominent public figure. And her father had always unconditionally loved her. Allowing her things which other people in his position have never allowed their children. Whenever she had insisted on something he and her Mom had sat down with her and discussed it and then only had they ever taken a decision. Her father had never forced any of his decisions on her. And that is why she felt this restlessness, this guilt.
If she understood so many things why was she being so restless??? If she knew her responsibilities and boundaries why was she straining to free herself, looking for clinks in that? What was the reason she couldn't still her heart?
A sound from her balcony made her turn and there he stood________ looking at her through the glass partition________ the reason for her restlessness.
Oh God!! What was she to do??
He stood there looking at her, the object of his single minded attention. What was it about her that he couldn't think of anything other than her? What was it about her that he couldn't sleep without her essence, her presence any more? He had thought that it was lust as always, but no if that had been the case then he would have been relieved of it by now________ standing there at that very moment he accepted the knowledge that she had become the centre of his universe. He needed the very air she breathed to survive, the twinkle in her eyes she always had whenever she laughed, her smile when she did something mischievous, her touch which not only burned him to devour her at times, but gave him his sanctity--------the peace that he had so yearned for so long.
Geet stood there and watched Maan slide open the glass balcony doors and enter her room. Was she surprised? No, one part of her mind had known he would come to her. That he would find some way to reach her. She acknowledged the fact that she had infact been waiting for him to come to her. She had just been fighting with herself to justify them meeting against her father's explicit wishes as she had known he won't stay away from her. The moment she accepted that she understood what she had never accepted in all their squabbles--------- she had become heart and soul his and no amount of denials would alter this fact.
Maan watched a slow smile bloom on her lips, he walked towards her and saw her eyes radiate the calm and serenity that he had never found anywhere else. This child-woman, this unruly hoyden, who did things in her own unique way, who held his heart in the palms of her hand_________ and understood that he would walk through fires of hell and back to find a way to make everything right for them, to have her to himself as she was his Misty, his Wife.
And he closed the distance and enclosed her in a embrace and a kiss they both hungered for.
