Sept 1st
Mrs. Kaushik comes out of the bedroom and sits with lovely's mom and other guest. Gehna is staring at maa sa. Amma sa asks maa sa to begin the mehndi ceremony. Nimmi asks lovely to put her right hand forward and Tanya does that for lovely. Maa sa puts mehndi on her hand. (theme song playing in background). Aarti also wants to put the best mehndi on her hand better than everyone. Nimmi controls her. Nimmi, teases lovely about putting kartiks name in her mehndi and everyone is enjoying and saying how dark her color will be due to the love they have. Ria supports kartik and says is he is very loyal. Kartik and lovely are blushing. Kartik and lovely in flashback about one mehndi scene. Mrs kaushik asks nimmi to put mehndi on kartiks hand soon after lovely's hand is done.
Some guest congratulate mrs kaushik for finding her choice of bahu. Amma sa wants music and dancing begin. Ria and Tanya are hosting and representing groom and bride side. There is a competition between bride and groom dance. All excited and ready for completion. Dancing begins.
Mehndi hai rachne wali dance – Tanya performing, ria joins in later. Amma sa asks gehna to perform, and she refuses. Tanya says let it be you guys will loose, so nimmi gets up and starting perfoming on lo chali mein apni devar ki barat lekar song. Ria and simran also join in. all three bahu's dance.
Now mr.kaushik's turn and he got excited and gets up. Then he shy's a bit due to his age and then after amma sa encourages him he agrees and gets in his romantic mood and begind singing "Aye meri zohra-jabeen, tujhe maalum nahi, Tu abhi tak hai haseen aur main jawaan" he is pointing towards mrs kaushik and his songs are also dancing in the back. mrs. Kaushik refuses to get up and dance, but lovely's mom gets up and dances with mr. kaushik. Even lovely's dad gets up to dance. All three dancing.
Amma saa now starts dancing and maa sa laughs. "kajra mohabbat wala ankhiyo me aisa dala" song. Kartik gets up to dance and nimmi and ria also join in.
Now the brothers start dancing on "Le jayenge le jayenge dilwaale dulhaniya le jayenge" and then lovely gets ups and start dancing on " mein sasural nahi jaungi song" kartik and her dance together. Due to mean looks from mrs. Kaushik they stop dancing.
Amma saa ask gehna to sing "ghumar" so she agrees and sing
and dance to it. everyone(all guest and family) joins her. Mrs. Kaushik stares
at everyone and remembers gehna accusing her of lying.
Mrs kaushik starts walking towards amma saa in the dancing circle and tell her to come to side as she wants to tell her something.
On the side, Mrs. Kausik tell amma sa that kartik and lovely are already married and Aarti hears it and loudly announces it to everyone!! Everyone one hears it!!
All guest start gossiping and asking questions. Amma sa ask mr. kaushik if all these is true? Before mr. kaushik answers, Lovely's mother interrupts and covers up saying that mrs.kaushik is trying to say that they are so much in love that they are already married by mind and soul. Amma sa kinda believes and everyone continues with the event.
Mrs. Kaushik and lovely's mother talk on the side and requests mrs. Kaushik to help her out so that society does not point finger at them. Mrs. Kaushik does not answer anything and leaves. Bahu's are discussing that amma sa is probably doubtful now. Lovelys mother is wondering how lovely will deal with her Mother in law.
Lovely makes an excuse and walks around. Tanya pulls kartik on the side and brings her to lovely where they are alone. Kartik wants to go back and is scared that someone might see them. They duck behind the couch.
Recap for Monday: lovely's dad is apologizing to kartiks family for the trouble they had to go thru due the power outage and he says that he will send a check thru is Personal assistant to compensate for it. everyone at kartiks family looks shocked.
