I'm very different in real life: Aditya Redij
Ismat Tahseen, TNN | Aug 26, 2011, 12.00AM ISTActor Aditya Redij is back on the television as Rajbeer, the love interest of Preeto, who plays the protagonist in Sawaare Sabke Sapne Preeto.
"Rajbeer works for the air force and he's a very quiet, reserved person who doesn't like socialising. He doesn't trust women because of things that happened in the past in his family. He comes across Preeto at a friend's wedding and slowly realises she isn't a bad person," says Aditya, who's just the opposite of the character he is playing. "I think I would learn so much when doing a role like this because I'm very different in real life. I love meeting friends, socialising and visiting new places."
The actor says the initial scenes of the show are quite light in mood. "I'm sure it will get into a faster pace. I look forward to anything that might come as I would like to play all kinds of roles, villain, action-oriented or even comedy," he declares.
About his on-screen and off-screen camaraderie with Preeto aka Ankita Sharma, he says, "She's a great actress and we get along very well," he says.
