Final list of Bigg Boss 5
Since the time Bigg Boss 5 was announced, one question which intrigued the small screen viewers was 'Who all are going to be the inmates this season?' Speculations were doing rounds for a long time and some made it to the headlines. Even during the press conference, Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt claimed to be unaware about the final list. However, now according to the market speculations and highly placed sources from Bigg Boss house, here are the names of people who are going to be arrested in the house of Bigg Boss. Interestingly, all the contestants are females barring one- Shakti Kapoor. This also seems like an deliberate effort to grab headlines as he is often accused of being a womaniser.
Shakti Kapoor: The list starts with the controversial figure of Bollywood, Shakti Kapoor. He is not only known for playing comic characters in movies, but also for the most controversial sting operation.
Raageshwari Loomba: Raageshwari is an Indian pop singer, actress, model, television anchor and former MTV VJ.
Pooja Misra: Pooja is a model turned actress and popular ramp model.
Sonika Kaliraman: Sonika Kaliraman is an indian wrestler and has been featured in reality show - Khatron Ke khiladi.
Pooja Bedi: Pooja is the daughter of actor Kabir Bedi and is a former Bollywood actress. Pooja worked in Bollywood films, and appeared in many commercials. The actress has also been part of talk shows and reality shows on small screen.
Shonali Nagrani: Shonali won the pageant of former Miss India International in 2003. Also, she is an Indian film actress and model and has appeared in Hindi language films.
Laxmi Tripathi: Laxmi Tripathi, a tall beautiful and handsome transgender. She is confident and vocal about her opinion, and fights to protect the rights of her people.
Juhi Parmar: Juhi is a well known TV personality and a versatile anchor, actress, Television Presenter, singer and dancer. She has essayed many important roles in serials like Shaheen, Kumkum and Devi.
Vida Samadzai: Vida is Miss Afghanistan 2003 and the first Afghan woman to participate in an international beauty pageant.
Mandeep Bevli: Mandeep is an anchor and has worked for various channels. Mandeep specializes in hosting shows related to Bollywood rumours.
Mahek Chahal: Mahek who shares a strong friendship with Salman Khan and has also entered Bollywood with his recommendation.

Bigg Boss 5' opens today with a bang
Mumbai: As the fifth season of the much-hyped reality show 'Bigg Boss' kickstarts from today, the suspense is growing over the new inmates even as Nihita Biswas, wife of convicted murderer Charles Sobhraj, actress-cum-reality TV star Pooja Bedi and actor Shakti Kapoor are said to be sure shot participants.

The haunting voice that ordered the 13 inmates saying "Bigg Boss chahte hain ..." is back and how! We are indeed referring to the reality show Bigg Boss, which is back with its fifth season. This year round, the deadly dude who will be giving company to the host Salman Khan is none other than Sanjay Dutt. Like every season, this time too, the channel truly deserves an Oscar for safeguarding the names of the 13 contestants as 'national treasures'. Sources close to Bollywood Hungama confessed that they 'tried their best to get the cat out of the bag'. According to them, the most probable 13 contestants this year 'could' be: Shakti Kapoor, Laxmi Tripathi, Amarr Upadhyay, Akashdeep Sehgal, Shonali Nagrani, Mahek Chhel, Pooja Misrra, Juhi Parmar, Sumeet Saigal, Shraddha Sharma, Vidaa, a lady journalist, a (pregnant) lady wrestler and Rageshwari. There has also been a buzz that the following names might just spring a surprise as being one of the inmates: cricketer Jonty Rhodes, singer Shakira, Barbara Kites Mori, boxer Mike Tyson, comedian Jaspal Bhatti, Nihita Biswas (wife of Charles Shobhraj), TV actress Kratika Sengar (of 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay' fame) and last but not the least Maria Susairaj, the struggling actress who also happened to be one of the main accused in the sensational Neeraj Grover murder case. Wait is almost over for the fan of BIG BOSS 5. "Double Damaal" this time because Salman Khan is hosting the show with Sanjay Dutt. Promos of the shows have been already aired in Color TV.
One of most popular reality TV programme in India is going to start soon after huge success of Bigg Boss season 1 2 3 and 4. Agreed, there have been several speculations about the contestants who have been finalised to enter the much-awaited reality show Bigg Boss.
And the final list could be a bit shocking as majority of the names didn't make the rounds. Joining Nihita Biswas in the house will be Shakti Kapoor, Raageshwari Loomba, Shraddha Sharma, Pooja Misra, Sonika Kaliraman, Pooja Bedi, Shonali Nagrani, Laxmi Tripathi, Juhi Parmar, Vida Samadzai, Mandeep Bevli, Mahek Chahal, Mandeep Bablee, Gulabi Saphera.
