Mona maasi has come to invite the Dhillon's for her daughter Neeta's wedding. Kanwal enquires how did she search the groom and requests her to find one for Meeta too. Mona maasi agrees and asks for Meeta's photos. She asks Preeto to stitch the clothes for the wedding as Neeta is insisting. Preeto agrees.
Meanwhile Bani is at some caf sort of place with some girls and she is trying to sell some cellphones to them. They all are impressed by the expensive phones and ask her how does she get them. She replies that her dad travels a lot and he buys those phones from various countries. He likes to collect gadgets and then sell them after some time. And that has become a 'social work' for her. They ask about the phone which she owns. She says she has an iphone but as it is expensive she doesn't get it to college. One of the girls asks her no and she gives it hesitantly. Asks them not to call often as her dad doesnt like it. She explains the features of all the phones and asks them to buy. First they are hesitant as they are expensive, but then buy.
Next day at the breakfast table, Preeto asks her dad whether he would be at his office for the whole day. He says yes and adds that the editor cannot work without his help. After he leaves, Preeto tells her mom that she would first go to maasi's place in Jalandhar and then surprise her dad at his office.
Preeto reaches the publishing house and is impressed seeing the office. She enquires at the reception about Gagandeep Dhillon and the receptionist says that there is no proof reader there by that name. She even checks the register and doesn't find the name among the employees. Preeto is confused. Just then the editor enters and Preeto goes and introduces herself to him(her full name is Manpreet )and asks about her dad. Even he says that there is no one with that name at their office. Preeto is shocked to hear this and is on the way out. She receives her mother's call, who asks whether she met her dad. Preeto lies that she didn't go to his office since its far away from maasi's house. She verifies about the name and address of the publishing house with her. Decides to confront her dad later in the evening.
Beeji and Ishmeet are at the ration shop. The shopkeeper asks them why their list has become smaller these days. Beeji replies that when the prices are not coming down,they have to decrease their needs. He asks why is she worried about expenses now that even gaganji has got a good job. She says that they have other expenses at home too apart from the ration and leaves. They are on the way when a car stops by. Its Dhruv and Rajbeer. They get down from the car and Dhruv runs to meet them. He introduces them to Rajbeer. They offer to drop them home. In the car, Dhruv is frequently glancing at Ishu through the rearview mirror. Beeji notices this and remembers Meeta telling her about Dhruv's attraction to Ishu. She invites them both for lunch. Says Ishu has prepared good chole kulche at home. Dhruv is excited and is about to accept the invitation when Rajbeer interrupts saying that they are having some urgent work at the headquarters. Beeji asks them to come some other day by giving them prior notice so that she can have his favourite dishes prepared. She starts asking him about his job and stuff. Ishu tries to silence her. Beeji asks Dhruv about his favorite dish and he says he can eat anything that is made with love. He keeps glancing at Ishu who in turn is blushing. Beeji asks him about marriage. He says that he'll marry as soon as he finds the right girl. So she asks him,where would his wife stay as he,being in defense, would be away most of the time. He fumbles for the answer when Ishu interrupts that they have reached their house. Beeji again invites both for lunch,while leaving. Dhruv and Rajbeer meet Preeto who is returning home. Dhruv notices that she is worried and asks her the reason. She refuses and changes the topic by asking about Jogi and Jassi. She too invites them home but Rajbeer firmly stops Dhruv and they both take leave.
Preeto is at home in a thoughtful mode about why her dad lied to them. Decides to asks him about it that day itself.
