NDTV Imagine's popular show, Chandragupta Maurya
has taken a ten year leap and Yashashri Masurkar has been roped in to
play the female lead, in the show. Yashashri would play the role of
'Mrignayni,' the princess of Takshilla. Yashashri was last seen in Rang Badalti Odhani.
Sources reveal that, Masurkar is happy and excited about the role as well as about the look of the character.
Ashish Sharma has been introduced as the grown up Chandragupta in the
show and Yashashri would be his love interest. However, the show will
have a love triangle with Dhananand and Chandragupta both falling for
Mrignayani.

After Rang Badalti Odhani, Yashashri Masurkar is entered in NDTV Imagine Chandragupta Maurya.
It is already reported that Chandragupta Maurya is going to take a leap. For which creative team is looking for a suitable face to suit a grown up character. And they found Yashashri Masurkar who was seen in a subdued and doting daughter in law Khanak role in Star One show Rang Badalti Odhani. In this she is playing the princess of Takshila, Mrignayni who marries Chandragupta Maurya.
Getting this role Yashashri Masurkar is very excited and said that it is very different from Khanak. This is first time when she is seen a historical show. historical shows are very interesting as they are remembered later times. It is challenging role for her and to act that character which existed many eras ago. Ashish Sharma from Gunahon Ka Devata is playing grown up Chandragupta Maurya. The show is produced by Sagar Arts and 72 Degrees.
Well, it is really for Yashashri Masurkar's fans to see her again in new show.
