I would suggest that you download from here: http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/download/updates/vegaspro9 and then look for a keygen/crack/serial on the net. Usually a lot of them are available on youtube. I have always downloaded from here since it's sony's official site. The downloaded file usually does not have any glithces.

it is actually vegas movie studio 11..i purchased it..

i cant render it more than 20% ..so i always end up makig vms of 1 minute

as you said i tried setting the dynamic RAM preview option to 16 MB..bt still it crashed at 24 %

Movie studio is somehow more unstable than Vegas. Can you tell me what your output template was? Are you rendering in WMV? WMV is the heaviest format to work with. Perhaps you should try rendering in mp4.? If it doesn't crash there then I guess it's a RAM/registry problem.

I purchased System mechanic about 4 months ago. You can do the same or at least download the trial version. There is no free registry cleaner available on the net that gives you good results. They're all bogus.

yes, i tried both wmv and mp4 format ..both times it crashed. my laptop shuts down after 20+ % and restarts...everytime it does the same.

Thanks for the great help ! I got rid my crashing problem thanks to you !

I need a help I added quite lot of video FX in my editing which is causing me difficulty in previewing the video. The music is going fine but the visuals in preview monitor is too slow its difficult me to understand how my edit is turning because of the preview not working well. I changed it to Draft (auto) still its slow. Do you have any suggestion for it?

I dont know why, but for some reason my vegas stopped rendering vidos
