Jassi's grandfather asks what they two are doing here and Rajbeer goes to tell the truth but Preeto grabs his hand to stop him. Both look down and Preeto realizes that she grabbed Rajbeer's hand. Preeto lies and says that they came to look for Jassi's gold earrings. Jassi's mother is upset as it is inauspicious to lose gold. The grandfather says that they are lying and must have come to see each other. He tells them that he has no qualms to them meeting but they can do it outside as in this house it won't do. He tells them that dinner is served and asks them to come down to eat.
Jassi's mother asks Preeto if she doesn't have to head home and Preeto nods but the grandfather asks her to eat. Preeto heads out first and Rajbeer follows. Rajbeer asks why Preeto stopped him from telling the truth. Preeto says that first of all she shouldn't have had to stop him. She says he's an officer but he can't think for a second what would happen if they found out the truth. She says that God gave him height but he has brains the size of an ant. Rajbeer tells Preeto to shut up and Preeto asks him why he keeps telling her to shut up and if he knows only how to shut people up. Preeto tells him that she's not interested in talking to him. Rajbeer says she is only interested in creating scenes, first taking him to the police station and then by posting those pamphlets and then out there by lying. He tells her that they think that the grandfather and the mom think that they both went out to meet each other. He says he's not that down in the dumps to go meet someone like her.
Preeto says that if he's not having a bad time he will have it soon. She tells him that she's not interested in quarreling with him and says for now all her attention is on Jassi. She says she doesn't want her in-laws to think that Jassi has a bad character or anything like that by creating any misunderstanding. Rajbeer seems surprised. Preeto continues, and says that it might not trouble him being seen with her but she is a girl and it matters to her what people think about her.
Rajbeer is taken aback and with nothing better to say retorts that he's glad she told him she's a girl because he was thinking she belonged to the zoo. Peeto frustrated just walks away, her hair hitting against Rajbeer's arm and he follows her. They both are stopped by the mama and he asks them what they were doing on the terrace. Jogi says they don't have to say anything and as it is written all over their face. Rajbeer tells Preeto to hide the truth more as she can already see the results. Preeto looks worried and wonders what everyone knows and what they will think. Jogi tries to play it cool and congratulates Rajbeer. Rajbeer thanks Jogi but gives him a sharp nudge.
Geeta Aunty comes and asks Preeto to eat as she's getting late for home. The mama says not to worry as Rajbeer will drop her. Rajbeer protests as he has some work and is busy and Preeto says no and says she's not hungry. Geeta Aunty tells her to eat something or at least grab some jalebi. Preeto is happy to hear that there is jalebi and Rajbeer looks surprised again at Preeto's reaction. Preeto asks Geeta Aunty if she can take home some for Sonu as she loves Jalebi. . Geeta Aunty laughs and says Preeto will never change and tells her to eat here some but Preeto says she will go home and eat with Sonu. Geeta Aunty agrees and Preeto takes a box and packs jalebis for Sonu. As the crowd disperses, Rajbeer stands and watches Preeto curiously as she fills a box with jalebis. He can't help but smile.
Preeto is heading out and is stopped by Jogi who thanks her for handling the matter. Preeto says that she didn't say anything and didn't let the "tall one" say anything. Preeto tells Jogi that she's worried about the misunderstanding created though and tells Jogi that she doesn't want word of it to go out as it might reach her parents and people might say different things and she doesn't want to hurt her parents. She says the poor only have their respect and she and the "tall one" are as different as threes and sixes so she tells him to explain the matter to his family. Jogi tells her not to worry as she is like a sister to him and he won't let her honor be harmed. He asks if she wants to be dropped but Preeto says she has her bike and will take that and rushes off.
Gagan is back from work and is talking to all his daughters minus Preeto and they ask him about his work place. Kanwal brings hot water for him to soak his feet due tot he long commute. She asks him if he's okay and Gagan tells her he's just not used to it but he will be fine. Sonu tells him to put their picture on his desk and Gagan agrees. They all smile and Preeto comes and notices that they all look happy so she controls her temper and smiles as she comes and greets them. She tells Sonu to bring plates and Sonu asks what did Preeto bring and Preeto removes the box of jalebi from her bag. Sonu is excited and rushes to get plates. Preeto says she brought fifteen so everyone can have two and Sonu can have three. Bani says she's not in the mood and Preeto tells her she can have three if she wants. Bani says that isn't the matter and tells her Sonu can have her share and walks off.
Kanwal explains that Bani wanted to go to a picnic but since she refused to give Bani money, Bani is feeling down. Preeto says she will talk to Bani later and shares the jalebis with the family.
Later Preeto is ironing the clothes and bad mouthing Rajbeer as her elder sisters look amused. Ishu asks Preeto that nowadays she meets a lot of air force officers. Preeto says that it is the same guy and Meeta and Ishu exchange amused glances. Bani looks bored and Sonu just smiles. Ishu asks Preeto that she was praising him the other day and today she's speaking against him. Preeto remembers her words to Ishu last time and says that it takes a while to recognize character and she was mistaken.
Meeta comments that this is like a movie where the hero, heroine meet for the first time and argue then fall in love and then get married. Sonu smiles and Preeto rolls her eyes. Meeta asks Preeto is she's not thinking of marriage. Meeta asks Preeto if she has issues with the word marriage or just in general. Preeto tells her nothing against marriage but not right at the moment and definitely not with the air force officer. Meeta and Ishu tease Preeto saying that he's already in Preeto's mind and will soon be in her heart. Meeta and Ishu tell Preeto that when she goes out she should try to dress up more. Ishu brings up Preetos words to her earlier and Meeta picks up an outfit for Preeto to wear for the next day. Ishu tells her to wear it for them, and Meeta adds if not for them then for the air force officer. Preeto chases after Meeta for continuously teasing her about Rajbeer and all the sisters engage in a pillow fight and embrace each other laughing at the end.
Next morning everyone is rushing to get to their work, school and other things. Kanwal drags Bani shouting that she needs to go to college. Preeto is dressed up based on Meeta and Ishu's advice, and pulls Bani aside and talks to her and tells her she will get the money for the picnic and tells her not to worry. Bani says she has till tomorrow only and tells Preeto not to worry. Preeto tells her she will get it and asks Bani not to worry. Bani goes to get her books as Gagan gets his lunch from Kanwal. Preeto stops Bani and hands her a few spending cash and tells her not to worry.
Rajbeer on the other hand isn't ready yet and Jogi is worried. He tells Jogi that his sherwani is locked in the cabinet and the designer isn't come yet. Jogi tells Rajbeer to call Preeto and Rajbeer tells Dhruv. Dhruv tells Rajbeer it is his problem and he can call her and as is her phone number is in his phone. Rajbeer says he didn't save it but Dhruv tells him it must be on his dial list. Rajbeer frowns but relents.
Preeto is rushing when Rajbeer's phone comes and he says it is him. Preeto says this is her then. Rajbeer frustrated introduces himself and Preeto says she is Preeto. He tells her he needs clothes. Preeto says why would he need clothes as he always roams naked in his towel. Rajbeer tells her to shut up and says he needs his sherwani and Preeto asks him if he needs her help wearing it. Rajbeer tells her the cupboard is locked and she has the key. Preeto bites her tongue and says she's coming soon and hangs up. She rushes out barely eating and grabs her purse but forgets the keys on the table.
Preeto outside sees Bani pleading with a man and after the man leaves asks Bani who the man was.
