How does this info reach the press-
a few guesses:
1) armaan delibrately feeds this to the press to discredit jassi and undermine her achievement
2) presswalahs reach the walia house when they are discussing this and overhear it
3) Sheetal, says something offhandedly to the press
Anyways, i don't think jassi and purab will pretend to be in love because of this or for that matter to appease billu.
going by jassi's irrational behaviour these days, especially toeards purab, i think she will blame him for this too and stop talking to him (at least till she gets to know who did it) and we will be subjected (again) to the trauma of seeing armaan using this to his advantage. So, are we back to square one ?
yashika
ides , i could die for her books, strange how even her sappy stuff is practical and oh so different from all the other books, her heros and heroines are perfect yet human(almost like purab)trapped with thier personal demons and desires, and love is a constant trial yet solace.
by the way i was thinking more of book called "remember when" where cole the charismatic yet aloof business tycoon offers marraige to a former friend who is hounded by press and has just suffered a broken engagement with a playboy(armaan), and is facing problems with her business as a result.
Edited by pj04 - 19 years agoi think press has been quite for too long especially on the case of someone who must be as visible as purab. the lives of rich and trendy are always of interest especially when two of them come from such different backgrounds and one of them wins a coveted international contract after the other (who is an undisputed winner)seems to make way for the first one with unusual grace.
by theway if jassi gets mad with purab, she gives more fodder for media, loses purab's friendship, makes purab look bad , disappoints her parents and earns the wrath of snobby corporate world. a better way would be to keep up pretences and break up later, if purab agrees to the plan(which ofcourse he will)
