It's not just Friends, I don't watch any soap, serial, reality show, game show, news, etc. I hardly ever watch TV, I find internet and books more interesting. Unless, I accidentally come across some movie which I feel like let's watch it or some cricket match is going on.

Btw cyrax, what is there to debate? Everyone will state some name as their favourite program, but I don't see how exactly that is going to get any debate going.

what was there to debate in the harry potter thread? in fact, the founding fathers of the thread took umbridge(no pun intended) with even the slightest bit of criticism of harry potter. it was more of a fan club than a debate.

people were meant to debate why their favourite is the best and the other shows were inferior. that's what the debates abt.

as for Glee,
I think they do some of the absurdisms well.
But I picked Modern Family over Glee because of the laughs as previously mentioned.

Yes,

Friends was a legend of sitcoms.
I mean, especially for the younger and kinda young adult audiences.
