Right from the first scene we could feel his anger, frustration, and the pressure he was in.
Hahaha
he was like a cat on a hot tin roof... this cat pushes people off the roof 
The straightforward cop faces all kinds of pressure at work and at home mainly because of his profession.
The reason for the discord between the husband and wife is not shown. But that one happy scene tells that the long hours at work might be the main reason.
He is in the divorce court with his wife but hurriedly leaves the place when gets a call from the commissioner.
He gets this important lead after a long chase yet asks his colleague to take over and rushes to visit his wife.
'Aadmi
apni kismet khud likhta hai' is apt for Arvind too. He
writes and gets the painting.

Ok so this is not about KARM.
But then so many were approached to do the movie but in the end Rajeev Khandelwal had to be Arvind Mathur. So maybe it is it...
Ooorrr maybe not, maybe it is something else.
One of the first things we knew about Aamir was his meaning. We read so many articles about 'Leader'. Sooo wanted to know what arvind meant.
Ah ha Voila... therein lies the reason as to why saw we have a KARM FC (RK's AM FC).
So PGSKS maybe it is not kARM(a) or good deeds and the like...he doing Arvind Mathur must have been definitely sealed on the day the director did Naam KARN for his cop.
