It's OK to use daughter's money, if there's a need. If the kids are not gonna help the parents, then who is going to???????
And in the worst cases, where the son is a f''''g idiot, parents should go ahead & respect & use the daughter's money.

I feel the time is already changed.

If parents are in (real) "need" of money, it's perfectly fine to take money from either son or daughter. When they have enough, they prefer not to take it from married daughter and or son, which makes sense.
