Shah Rukh Khan to come up with Swades sequel

The buzz doing the rounds suggests that Shah Rukh Khan is keen to have a sequel to his 2004 dud, Swades.

Director Ashutosh Gowariker recently approached SRK with an idea to take the story forward, reports said, and the superstar surprisingly liked the concept and asked the filmmaker to work on it.
"Swades was critically acclaimed but it failed to have much impact at the box- office. Both SRK and Ashutosh however strongly believe in the concept and seem to be convinced a sequel could work," a source said.
