Finally, the truth is out.
BOARDROOM
Puru is still in a state of shock. He asks Armaan what is the meaning of all these loans. Armaan looks at him, very scared. Puru repeats his question. Armaan comes to his senses. He tells himself that Jassi has presented the real balance sheets. He looks at everyone & says that all this is a big mistake. These are not the true balance sheets. All are looking confused. He goes to Jassi and whispers fiercely to her to collect the files from everybody. Jassi coldly says that she can't do any such thing. Armaan looks at her in disbelief. He tells everyone again that this is all wrong, and that the meeting is cancelled. He starts collecting all the files. He comes to Aryan to take his file. Aryan refuses to give his file. He stands up and addresses everyone that everything is absolutely right, nothing is wrong. He says to Armaan with that wicked grin that his game is over. He says that for the first time, the truth about Gulmohur will be out in front of everyone. He starts redistributing the files, and bangs Jassi's file in front of her, giving her an evil look. Jassi is looking straight, her face absolutely devoid of expressions. Armaan closes his eyes. Aryan asks Armaan what he has done with their company that they had given him with so much trust. He asks him what care he has taken of the inheritance from his elders..
Aryan continues that a company called Kohinoor has sanctioned all the loans to Gulmohur. In fact Gulmohur is actually owned by Kohinoor, he declares. Puru cannot believe what he's hearing; Maddy looks like he's going crazy. Ila says that she does not understand what he is saying. Aryan explains that the previous day, he had brought up the issue of Kohinoor, the same Kohinoor that is owned by Miss Jasmeet Walia.
Armaan can't bear it any more. He comes to Aryan and angrily tells him to stop talking nonsense. Aryan raises his hand and tells Armaan that he has had enough. Armaan tells him that he has not lost Gulmohur, he has taken care of it and that he has saved it, yes, he has saved Gulmohur. Aryan smiles and asks him if he is trying to fool all of them, or better still, is he a fool himself? He says that what Gulmohur has he saved? The one that is blacklisted in the market? Raj closes his eyes with his hand. Jassi is still looking down. Their voices start rising. Puru stands up, so does Mallika.
Just then Pari arrives. She greets everyone happily and says that she has got something nice for all of them: good coffee. Armaan shouts at her to get out. He throws her out and bangs the door shut.
Armaan glares at Aryaan & warns him NOT to call him a fool again. Aryan cannot be stopped today. He tells Armaan that not only is he a fool, but also insane and useless. Armaan is fuming. He catches Aryan by the collar and they start bickering wildly. Puru shouts that they stop. Armaan refuses to leave Aryan. Puru shouts at Armaan to let go of Aryan. Armaan does.
Maddy thanks Puru for protecting them from these junglee men. He says that it reminds him of Fashion Street where all hawkers are yelling like crazy to sell their goods.
Puru then asks everyone to shut up. He turns to his son and asks him one question:" Have you lost Gulmohur, Armaan?" Mallika starts crying. Armaan looks at him and tells him that he has not.
Aryan then goes to Jassi and tells her that he has heard many a tale about her professionalism & capability. He says that he would like to ask her one simple question. He says that when a company is totally indebted or under a lien of another, can it be safely assumed that the owner has lost it? Jassi is silent.
Armaan intervenes. He looks at everyone and says that the company is on Jassi's name. Everybody is totally shocked. Raj closes his eyes. Puru looks at his son disbelievingly. Mallika stands up. Through her tears, fire emitting from her eyes, she says, " What is this Armaan? Our company, our Gulmohur, on this woman's name??" She points at Jassi fiercely. She turns the chair on which Jassi is sitting towards her and asks Jassi what magic did she do on Armaan that he entrusted her with his company? Mallika is yelling at Jassi, who just looks down, without a word. Puru tells Mallika to stop.
He says that he wants an explanation from Armaan. Armaan starts that they started taking loans from Kohinoor so that the bank would not take over Gulmohur. Mallika is looking at him with disbelief. Aryan then asks him why did he not call a board meeting if Gulmohur was going through such a hard time? Armaan retorts that Gulmohur will cover all its losses soon , in fact it has even started recovering the losses. Aryan asks him how they have started recovering the loans, by presenting forged balance sheets? Armaan looks at him, defeated..he looked so so bad. Aryan says that for the last few meetings they have been deceived by the crooks Raj and Armaan, who continued to show them false balance sheets. Raj is looking at the table. Aryan tells Raj that his designation should be changed to "Vice-President of Loss." Aryan then turns to Jassi. He says that she has always assisted these two frauds in all this.
Mallika tearfully says that they are drowned under debt. And what worse than being indebted to this woman. She continues to cry. Puru looks sick. He asks Armaan weakly that why did he ever hide such an important thing from them. Ila says that she thinks she knows. All turn to look at her. She says that she thinks that Armaan did all this to fulfill the high dreams he had set for himself when he was made the chairman, to fulfill the promises he had made. Armaan says that yes, in order to fulfill those promises , he has to make certain compromises. He says that the delivery of the collection had to be made, he had to fulfill his commitments and so he had to use substandard material. He admits he made a mistake. On hearing this, Maddy looks like he'll throw up. He yells that how could Armaan use substandard material for his collection.
OUTSIDE THE BOARDROOM
The gang is trying to listen what is going on inside. Pari comes and asks them what they are doing, she threatens that she knows they are eavesdropping. Nazneen asks her to shut up. Bindiya says that she'll thrash her so hard that her golden hair will become red. Just then Pari's cell rings and she goes to answer it.
BOARDROOM
Armaan goes to his dad. He bends down on his knees and begs that he has really saved Gulmohur, he has. He asks his dad earnestly to believe him. Puru looks at him and asks him desperately if he thinks what he has done is something great. He says that they have nothing left now, nothing. Jassi tries to speak up. Puru tells her sharply that he will hear her, but later .He tells Armaan that what he has done is wrong, fraud, illegal. Armaan looks down guiltily..Puru again demands why he did this to them.
Maddy says that all he can comprehend now is that their supreme master is now this ugly Jassi. Aryan agrees that Jassi is their boss now. Mallika stands up and starts shouting again that how did this all happen. She asks Armaan how could he turn over their Gulmohur to this woman. How? Armaan looks straight into her eyes and says because he trusted her. Mallika looks at him angrily. She says that why did he trust Jassi so much, when she Mallika is his fiancee....why didn't he trust her?
Armaan asks her if she would have supported him the same way Jassi had, if he had confided in her. Mallika says that never, she would never have helped him to do such underhand work.
Maddy then asks if that bespectacled nerd, the one Jassi says is her boyfriend and roams in his car, has anything to do with this. Jassi still doesn't say anything.
Aryan continues his tirade on Raj and Armaan and what frauds they are. Armaan says that soon all the loans will be recovered. Puru asks how, when all of GM's bank accounts are freezed. Armaan says that they can use Kohinoor's accounts. He tries to explain that the recent collection was a success and GM can come out of this crisis in 6 months. Aryan tells him to forget it, he says that he is fed up. He tells Puru that he thinks it is best that they separate their parts and sell off their shares. Ila looks at him in disbelief. He tells her that he needs funds to invest in a new venture he is thinking of and so would like to have his share.
"What share Aryan? " cuts in Mallika. "What share and what company? This company no longer belongs to us,Aryan."
Aryan says that yes, the company belongs to Jassi. He asks Jassi what price she expects to restore their company. Jassi gets up, looking offended. "Price?" she asks. "I expect no price Sir!" She says that she had only one intention when she came for this meeting: To bring out the true state of Gulmohur, so that it is known to all. She says that all the details of the finances are given on page 4. She explains Kohinoor's status. She says that she is returning everything to them, including Kohinoor; they can do what they want with its finance. She says that the Mercedes is parked outside. She says that they can see the last page: It consists of her resignation as well......Mallika looks at her ........Puru looks shocked........Raj looks guilty............."And I have signed it." she ends.
Armaan looks at her, his mouth open with shock.....his eyes full of utter disbelief.......his whole world shattered to pieces................
