Even initially, he plotted with Adi for Adi to get into Uncle Jugnu's good books by offering him a bottle of alcohol, right? Of course, he'd rather not have to pay for Uncle Jugnu's liver cirrhosis. How I wish that Harsimranjeet Kaur makes an entrance.
As for Uncle Jugnu recording them, how can he not forgive Uncle Jugnu when he forgave Dev?

By the way, when Uncle Jugnu kept saying that he wanted insaaf (justice) for Maan and Geet and Biji slapped him, the thought that came to mind was this. The audience baying for justice was Uncle Jugnu. The creatives-cum-channel (powers that be) was Beeji.
Beeji slapped Uncle Jugnu and asked him if he wanted more justice. So, Geet and Maan forgave Dev and everything is junky dory in their world. And, if the audience wants more justice, they are only too happy to roll out the Dev-Nandini love story.
