Why did Toasty refuse to talk?

I don't understand why she refused :S, was she too hurt to talk? 😕

 She is the most matured and sensible person. It is too early to talk.. nothing has changed in between.. talk can only lead to ugly fight now.. time is required to heal the bitterness..  

oh thank you I wasn't sure at all but now it makes sense! Unfortunately Tej was hurt that Toasty didn't want to talk..

She also knew that if Tej was seen talking with them all hell would break lose

I think she saw Tej's reluctance, and she didn't want either of them in uncomfortable situtaion specially in front of everyone. Plus she can't get it out of her head that Tej said he wants her to go. I would be hurt too to talk, if one I trust most didn't have even a little faith to ask before making decision.

when first tej saw tosty with her friends even he was not ready to talk to her, he was leaving. then why should tosty talk to him. he himself refused to talk to her. right now I hate tej most.
