Analysis:  Well, it is clear that the good guy playing yet another good guy was unable to obtain a positive score.  And, the reformed bad guy managed a positive score, thanks to his interactions with his flavour-of-the track (as Geek puts it).

Now, Geet told Nandini (and us) that the reason that good guy playing yet another good guy continued with the deception was to prove to everyone that Geet would be happy with him.  In light of that, let's do a quick review of all the actions of the good guy playing yet another good guy since this track started.  And, what do we find?

Well, the good guy playing yet another good guy did not do a single thing proactively to prove to his wife's clan that he is the ultimate good guy.  Worse, he was not even shown to devise a plan which would help him achieve his goal.

-------------------
Now, we were also told that Dev will get what he deserves.  In light of this, it was interesting to keep a track of the brownie points earned by Dev -- the reformed bad boy -- from Maan and Geet.  And, by the episode telecast on 24 May 2011, the reformed bad boy had earned 54 brownie points.  Oh well, I will wait for the day when the reformed bad boy blames the good guy and his wife for having developed diabetes.

---

So, was this yet another nail in the coffins of Maan Singh Khurana and Geet Khurana nee Handa?

Once upon a time, there was a man who valued truth and honesty, however unfavourable the circumstances.  In the initial days, he stood by his principles and even refused to mollycoddle his Grandma and fulfil her wish of having all her grandsons live under the same roof of Khurana Mansion.

During that time, there was also a woman, who too would voice the truth, no matter how unpalatable the consequences were for her.

Today, we see another man and another woman.  A man and a woman afraid to face up to consequences of their deceptive actions.  When Uncle Jugnu is about to expose them, the man interjected and said that he wanted to say something.  Perhaps some remnants of that man of yore remained.  But, Uncle Jugnu silenced him for he was entitled after all to make the disclosure -- that disclosure which none of whom he perceived as "antagonists" had the courage to disclose.  Then, as was bound to happen, Uncle Jugnu's dilatory antics had, by then, raised Beeji's hackles.

The man and the woman had an opportunity to come back to glorious life.  But, the powers that be had not written it that way.

So, when Uncle Jugnu initially forgot what he was to disclose, the man and the woman did not come forward to disclose the truth themselves. What they did instead was exchange glances of relief with their two co-conspirators.

For this new man and woman do not have the courage to disclose the truth, unless the circumstances are favourable to them, unless the sun is shining bright in a cloudless sky.
