Personal life
Rati was born in a Bihari family in Assam and she is a native of Patna,Bihar.[2] Having studied commerce, she wanted to be a businesswoman. Her acting career happened by accident.
[i]Career
Having studied commerce, Rati was always interested in doing business and acting was a fluke. She came to Mumbai from Delhi to try her luck and got noticed by Ajai Sinha, but her project with him did not work out. She then gained popularity by playing the role of Nupur on Miley Jab Hum Tum. By the end of Season 1 her character was dead but she was brought back on the show, which ended in November for her fans!
