Chapter 3

Revealed

After a refreshing drink Pratigya phoned Komal. She tried her best but was unable to contact her due to bad network.

The rain showed no signs of stopping. Pratigya made herself comfortable in bed. She herself didnt know when she drifted off to sleep.

After some time,a sweet & mesmerizing tune invaded the room followed by..

Hey kaash, kaash yun hota
Har shaam saath tu hota

Pratigya slowly opened her eyes trying to decipher whether it was dream or not.

Chhup jaa dil na yun rota
Har shaam saath tu hota

However soon she realised that it was reality.. She quickly got off the bed & ran towards the window..

Guzara ho tere bin guzara ab muskil hai lagta
Nazara ho tera hi nazara ab har din hai lagta

There were three windows in her room each facing different directions. She quickly ran towards each of them frantically looking for the one who set her heart racing. She was hypnotised by his sweet voice. Only He could make her feel that.

Hale dil tujhko sunata
Dil agar yeh bol pata
Bakhuda tujhko hai jata jaan

Pratigya stopped by the window facing the sea. She saw someone sitting on the rocks with his back facing her. She had a dead feeling that it was him.. but she couldnt arrive at any conclusion.

Tere sang jo pal bitaata
Waqt se main woh maang laata
Yaad karke muskuraata haan
Woo oo ..

She just stood there.. lost in his mesmerizing voice & soon drifted off in another world.

Tu meri raah ka sitara.
Tere bina hoon main awara.
Jab bhi tanhai ne sataya.
Tujhko besaakhta pukara.

He continued singing. He observed her carefully.. well aware of what she felt...

Chaahat hai meri la fanaa.
Par meri jaan dil, main hoon rakhta haan.

Pratigya's mind wernt back to the days when He sang this song for the first time..

14th February 2008-

The entire crowd assembled in the auditorium to hear the melodious voice of Krishna Singh Thakur.. KST!!
Everyone were anxious to know about the lucky girl who stole KST's heart... the one who could bring KST down on his knees.

Chandu- "Krish.. I never thought you could do this for her. I mean.. there are thousands of them waiting for you.."

Krishna- "Why do I look at them when I have her.. just for me??"

Haal e dil tujhko sunata.
Dil agar yeh bol pata.
Bakhuda tujhko hai jata jaan.

Pratigya clung to Maithili (her friend)

Pratigya- "What the hell is he doing??"

Maithili growled- "I'd better knock some sense in him."
Both of them were seething in anger.. Especially Pratigya. She paitently waited for the entire drama to finish off so that she could give him a piece of mind.

Soon She stepped into reality..

Khwaabon ka kab tak loon sahara.
Ab toh tu aaja khudara.
Meri yeh dono paagal aankhein.
Har pal maange tera nazara.

He was no whr to be seen.. Pratigya was a little tensed. She couldnt afford to lose out on him. Without wasting time, Pratigya ran towards the beach.

Aa samjaun inko kis tarah.
Inpe mera bas nahin chalta haan.

Pratigya spotted him walking towards the backyard..
She couldnt let him go.. so she quickly followed him..

His voice rang continously in her ears.. But he was no where in sight..
