Shaam And Salman Khan To Kick

Monday June 06, 2011

Salman Khan is strictly going through continuous remakes as his desperate need for continuous hits demanded for this situation. Following the huge success of 'Wanted', a remake of Telugu movie 'Pokkiri', he has streaked with the success of second remake titled 'Ready, a Telugu film remake that carries the same title.

Sallu Bhai has already started working on his next film 'Bodyguard', which again is a remake of Malayalam movie that was later remade in Tamil as 'Kaavalan' starring Vijay and Asin in lead roles. The latest to join the bandwagon is Telugu movie 'Kick'. The original version in Telugu starring Ravi Teja and Shaam was a blockbuster and it naturally left Salman Khan to pick the lucky lot.

Shaam was surprised to Salman Khan's call and he'll be playing the same role of a police officer on the trail of a smart, brilliant and cunning thief, who carries out his heist with some unique calculations.

The film's shooting will go on floors from September as Salman Khan will have to complete the filming of 'Bodyguard' first.

Salman to train in martial arts in Korea

By: Subhash K Jha Date:  2011-08-01 Place: Mumbai

Actor is all set to perform the most difficult action sequences of his career in Sajid Nadiadwala's 'Kick'

Taking off his shirt to fight the enemy is not enough anymore.

Salman Khan is all set to perform the most difficult action sequences of his career in Sajid Nadiadwala's Kick, and that too, in locations rarely ever seen in any kind of cinema.

Says Sajid, "We wanted the action in the film to go way beyond what we've seen Salman do in Wanted and Dabangg.

So, we're working towards that." Kick will be shot in Korea, all thanks to Salman who is keen to explore new locations for his films.

"Yes, the Korean Tourist Organisation has opened its doors to Kick. We've selected Seoul, Jeju Island, Busan and Gangwon Do, but I can't reveal why we've chosen these places just yet," he adds.

However, we've reliably learnt that Salman will be shooting some of the most kick ass sequences of his life in the wild Korean outdoors.

Says a source, "The action will be the very basic. Salman wants to take the action sequences from the original Telugu film Kick to another level. He was very impressed with Ravi Tejaa's action in the original, which was shot in Malaysia."

In September, the actor will start training in martial arts with well-known French stunt director Philip Guegan.

In addition, the Korean government will extend the services of its best martial arts experts and stunt artistes to Salman, who will be learning various forms of martial arts in Korea before shooting for Kick.
