To answer your question honestly 😊, the girl playing Confusion Queen (Nandini) got a much better offer at another show where she doesn't have to travel to Pune for shoots (I read somewhere in the forum that this show is shot in Pune). She put in her papers after having suffered the hamming of Mr. Stiffness for so long.

Abhishek is shown as contesting election, the girl, gauri, whom he got married to is the princess of  kushalgad. So basically all the votes is in favor of abhi plus she has brought lots of dowry (read money) with her, which is useful to abhi for election expenditure.

This was proposed by NNT and he announces abhi's engagement with her in the party where actually nandini was prepared for the same. This leads to misunderstanding between Abhi and Nandu. After this the boy with nandini got engaged is killed and the blame is on Abhi. This whole drama made Nandini and his father to leave the city and finally Abhi got married to this Gauri.
