The BBQ was a success thanks for asking. I'm pretty tired though but I have to go to my aunt's house and help her with a dinner party tonight...I'm so tired...trying to write a little here and there when I can for At First Sight.

You know I was wondering Prem has always been portrayed as this "Mr. Prefect" so I guess they had to show that Prem has his own faults as well.
He respected Gayatri a lot for taking him in and treating him like one of her own even when he wasn't. She raised him and helped him with his hand. So in many ways he feels obligated to side with her whenever she asks him to.
I guess you could say that means Prem is a bit of a Mama's boy. But his fault I guess would be his Duty and Responsibilities...and in many ways those faults are similar to Lalit's who in the beginning was all about his Word and Honor etc. when Prem finally told his father and everyone else that he loved Heer.
Prem was again sort of manipulated into accepting Bauji's Word and trying to maintain some sort of Honor to his father and the family. But in the end love trumped that because Prem couldn't let Heer go.
Preet tried to reawaken those feelings in Prem again during that time period that Heer was kicked out of the house.
