Ahem thinking:-

I ruined every thing..every happiness of my life..my gopi..

He reached hospital..

Ahem ran through the empty corridor(as it was night hour)

He stood infront of ICU.looking throught the glass door at the lifeless body of HIS life..yes his life..but it was too late for him to accept this..

Ahem stood there looking at gopi, he caressed at glass as if he's caressing gopi's face..tears pricking his eyes..

Koki:ahem

Ahem:mom..wo..gopi..

Just then doctor interrupts

Doctor:mr.modi I need to talk to u..

In doc cabin

Doc:mr.modi,ur wife dnt seem to respond any of the treatment'.

 Ahem:doctor'aap ne kaha she's out of danger phir ab ye..(his voice cracking)

Doc:yes mr.modi..she is out of danger..but still not okay

Ahem:doctor will she be(paused for few secs)''' be back to life???

Only he knew how painful it was to ask about this

Doc:with this response I cannot say anything'.i have spoke to some of the specialist..they will be here by tomorrow..

Ahem:get the best specialist for my wife'if  u allow I can take her abroad for proper medication  '

Doc:that is not the case mr.modi..its too very risky to shift her anywhere..leave alone abroad

After hearing this ahem left doc's cabin AGAIN disheartened..

He walked through the lonely lounge of the hospital..

He felt he never existed..or be aware he ever did

His loneliness took over him..he walked out of hospital..with his only companion PAIN

He reached modi bhavan..silently walked into his room..

It was dark room he lyd down on his bed..the dark room did n't made any difference..

He closed his eyes..and again his thoughts drifted back to past..

Modi bhavan was surrounded by happiness..

Koki:mota bhabhi hum dadi banne wale hai'.

Koki was laughing like never before..this was the best day of her life..

Raashi:kaki ji..mummyji..main maasi chachi..

Jigar :main bhi chacha maasa..

Raashi:jigar ji..chacha maasa nahi maasa chacha..

Jigar:nahi raashi..chacha maasa..

Koki:raashi..kaki maasi aur jigar tum maasa kaka

They all burst out laughing..

Ahem looking at gopi from the corner of his eye

How badly he wanted to hug her,share their happiness,kiss her, thank her.all he could do was to smile at gopi..and for gopi she could die for his one smile..it was known fact gopi never had limits when it came to ahem.

Gopi and ahem had an eyelock

They came back to sense when koki's voice distracted them..

Koki:ye shu chee gopi vau..tumhe aram karna chahiye..arrey nahi pehle kuch nashta karlo'

Raashi:gopi tu apne room main ja main wahi nashta le aati hoon..

Koki:haan..ahem dikra..tum gopi vau ko apne room lejao..

Ahem:ji mom(it was the swift reply..as a small kid got his favorite candy even before asking for it )

Ahem and gopi left for their room..

Ahem made her sit on the bed..

Ahem:gopi'thank u..(by now gopi learned to read and write..all thanks to raashi..)

Gopi:ahemji'.aap khush ho na??

Ahem's POV: khush?? Main toh itna khush hoon ki lafz kam padh rahee hai..apni khushi zahir karne..he felt like he is living a dream'.(he was distracted by the knock on the door)

It was raashi on the door..

Raashi:gopi ye main nashta le aayi thi..sorry agar aap dono ko disturb kiya ho toh..

Ahem's POV: yes..raashi u did disturbed us

Gopi:nahi nahi raashi ben..aayiye na..

Raashi:oho gopi tu bhi na..ab baith aur chup chap nashta kar'.ahem jiju..aap bhi nashta kar li jiye..main aapki green tea bhi le aayi..

Ahem nods..

Koki joins them too..

Ahem's POV: oh my god..why all of a sudden my room became a fair ground..why is everyone running in.. why cant they just leave US alone..for few hours'.oh no m asking for too much..okay few minutes..(how badly he wanted to voice his thoughts..)

Koki:gopi vau ab tum araam karogi..sirf araam..aur raashi..

Raashi:kaki aap pareshaan math hoyiye..main hoon na..goipi ka bahut acche se dhyaan rakhungi'.aur ghar ke saare kaam bhi main karungi..

Gopi:par maaji..main ab thik hoon..

Hetal:haan gopi dikra tum thik ho..par aise main bahut dyaan rakna hoga na'

Gopi nods

They all leave the room..

Ahem sighed a relief

He locked the door so that no one disturbs them again..

His phone goes ringing

Ahem's POV:wat a perfect timing..

Gopi:ahemji..phone..

That was the only thing he wanted now..phone..

Ahem:ye phone kisne banaya(he cursed under breath)

He attended the call'.that call went away for good half an hour..by the time he came back gopi was asleep

He looked at gopi'.he put quilt over gopi..

Ahem:m very happy..ye meri life ka best day hai..gopi I really really love u..kaash main yeh tumse keh pata..

~present~

Ahem:mujhe kitne mauke miley..par shayad..mere galthiyan itni badi thi jo mujhe unki kabhi maafi hi na mili'

Ahem heard raashi knocking the door,he wiped the tear

Ahem:haan raashi

Raashi:jiju dinner lag wa doon??

Ahem:nahi raashi..mujhe bhook nahi...

Raashi:jiju aap hospital gaye thay?? Doctor ne kuch kaha???

Ahem:doctor ne kuch nahi..kaha..naahi gopi ne..(there was a pain in his voice)bacche so gaye..???

Raashi:aapko toh pata hai..har din ki tarah aapka intezaar karte karte so gaye..

Ahem:hmmm

Raashi left the room..

Ahem changed into his night wear

He went down stairs..

He just touched the door

Ahem:good night'.papa,mamma loves u a lot..
