salute to you lady because I cannot see my kids in such pain and you saw your little one in this situation is tremendous only mother can do this
that's why mother is such a beautiful word that love cares only mom have that in which we all feel secure
the girls who are still young unmarried or not having a child just one thing I have say love your mom whenever you get an opportunity I lost my opportunity and I still miss her
Because god has given a best gift in our life and it's priceless

When my second daughter was born she was only 3lbs. 6weeks early.

She was in incubator for 6 weeks. Doctors lost hope. But I did not. She fought back and I learned that spirit from my little one.

Now she will start going to school in August.

When I see her I feel blessed.

Bless your strength for this Vaishu!!!! You sure are lucky here... to see that your child is safe now and does enjoy the beautiful life that she is surrounded with...

a very good post..mothers r really gr8..like the saying goes as God couldn't be there to take care of everyone he gave us Mother..To all the Mothers and my mother i salute u all..in earlier days kids spend more time with their parents..now-a-days kids move out of their houses in early ages for studies r career, sometimes they couldn't get a chance to say how much they love their parents..guys show ur love..they need that as they grew older..

Beautiful post Jess, love the bamboo analogy. The replies in this thread have touched my heart and have prompted me to write a little poem dedicated to my mum, all the mothers on this forum and around the world...

Like the early morning sun that gives birth to a new day,

Like the luminescent moon that allows you to recuperate,

Like the fruits of the earth that enrich our bodies and mind,

Like the waves of the ocean that replenish our land and life,

Like the shelter a house provides to keep out the cold,

Like the clothes that protect us and keep in the warmth,

All are imperative to the sustenance of life,

Without which we wouldn't go far in our lives.

This I dedicate to you, my mother and friend,

Whose value and worth I never can explain,

Though words fall short to describe what you mean to me,

This humble attempt I hope will leave you pleased,

For all that you are and everything you do,

On this day mother, I thank you.

It's not great I know, but hopefully you all liked it! :)

My mum for me is an exemplary human being, she epitomises everything a woman and a mother should be. I feel blessed to be her daughter, and strive to be just like her. My guiding light and my strength in the darkest hour, a day without her is unimaginable. I have the utmost respect for mothers as they are the most selfless people to grace this planet, and like many of you have said, a gift from God. As my religion rightly teaches me...'Heaven lies under the feet of your mother.'

P.S. Tora and Vaish, your replies bought tears to my eyes. Your experiences once again hit home just how important and strong-willed mothers are...
