asiya Kazi, who rose to fame as Santo in 'Bandini', has a phobia for deep waters.
The actress, who is currently seen as Saudamini in Hema Malini's 'Maati Ki Banno' reveals how she got this fear. "The fear of water started after I watched Titanic.
I thought I too would get drowned some day. Though I have learnt swimming, since then, I have stopped going in or near the water." And that's not all. Aasiya also has another phobia — she is petrified of fire.
While shooting for a 'Maati Ki Banno' sequence, she fainted on the sets "due to suffocation".
Aasiya insists "even when I visit Goa, I stay away from the beaches. I don't even travel by boat as it makes me feel giddy."
