I feel like I'm standing all alone

I don't care if it's right or wrong

I just want you to hold my hand

To me this is where I belong

Some days it's up with you,

And some days it's down

When the stars twinkle, you're smiling

When the sun shines, it's a frown

I can't tell if you'll be angry

Or just gently smile at me

I can't tell if you'll push me away

Or just embrace me softly

I feel like I'm standing all alone

I don't care if it's right or wrong

I just want you to hold my hand

To me this is where I belong

What they said never mattered

What they did, I didn't care

As long as you were on my side

The rest of the world didn't compare

Sometimes we teased and laughed

Sometimes we clashed and fought

Even when you walked away from me

It was you who my heart sought

I feel like I'm standing all alone

I don't care if it's right or wrong

I just want you to hold my hand

To me this is where I belong

Don't know where this came from. It doesn't even sound like anything that was in my head when I tried to pen my thoughts...but thought I'd share anyways. Sometimes the thoughts are clear and sometimes they are an incoherent mess...

Wafah,
  A good one!
All through while I was reading it, I was thinking if the 'I' was Guddu or Runjhun .. but to me, it looked like it could apply equally to both.
Only thing is, we haven't reached is the embrace part in the story.

"I can't tell if you'll push me away

Or just embrace me softly"

I am saying that only from what the characters have said in their dialogues or monologues .. who knows (atleast I don't know) what is in their hearts.

Did anyone notice the close of eyes and slight shake of head  in Guddu when Runjhun goes to get the sheets from the wardrobe for her to sleep?

LG, Bee, so what did Guddu's reaction mean?  Expectation?  Frustration?  Disappointment?
