'The Vampire Diaries' casts 'Twilight's' Charlie Bewley and 'Prison Break's' Camille Guaty

"The Vampire Diaries" has cast Charlie Bewley and Camille Guaty in key roles. Bewley will play Vaughn, who will first appear in the 13th episode of the season and will recur. Vaughn is "ruggedly handsome, charming, built, and tough as hell." He's one of The Five hunters, and he's very comfortable with his place at the top of the supernatural food chain. He knows a lot about Damon and uses it to get the upper hand — and, like everyone else who ever shows up on this show, he's got an opinion on Damon's feelings for Elena. 

Guaty will play Caitlin, who also shows up in Episode 13. She's a woman from Shane's past who has a profound and surprising impact on him, and she'll help shed some light on his motivations. We've got a feeling Shane's creepy tale about the immortal Silas might offer some clues as to how Caitlin will factor in to the story.

'Vampire Diaries' Season 4 Spoilers: Sexual Tension Between Elena And Damon; Plus New Casting And Friendships

"Vampire Diaries" fans may be missing an episode this week due to Thanksgiving, but fortunately we had a powerful enough episode last week to hold us over! Fans do have something to be grateful though this Thursday...some Damon and Elena sexual tension in episode seven, "My Brother's Keeper."

E! Online revealed that the newly single Elena and the drool worthy Damon will DEFINITELY be getting closer next episode. Viewers are already well aware of the sparks between these two (on-screen and off), but the shocking reveal that Matt would be Damon's date to the Miss Mystic Falls pageant kind of through off Team Delena fans.

Fear not though, because despite Matt being Elena's date to the shindig, fans can expect to see Damon and Elena on the dance floor at the pageant! If that moment won't be steamy enough for viewers, they can also expect to see steam coming from Caroline. The blonde vamp is reportedly going to be furious with her friend and something tells us it has to do with her budding friendship with Stefan.

TVGuide reports that Caroline and Stefan will be teaming up in episode seven and will be making "an important discovery." The duo, who were always friendly, will find their relationship growing as they both struggle and support each other with their difficult loved ones (ahem, Elena and Tyler).

But what "Vampire Diaries" fans really have to worry about is a brand new character that is set to appear in episode eight, "We Always Have Bourbon Street." While we already know that Madeline Zima will be guest starring as Charlotte, a former love of Damons, TVGuide reports that viewers will be meeting another unfamiliar place. Camille Guaty of "Prison Break" and "The Chicago Code" will be swinging by Mystic Falls to play Caitlin, a girl who "knows a thing or two" about what that sneaky Professor Shane is up to. We bet the professor's not up to anything good.

"Vampire Diaries" viewers can also look forward to a member of "Twilight's" Volturi joining the series in episode 13. Charlie Bewley, who played Demetri in the "Twilight" series will now be playing Vaughn...although who Vaughn is remains a secret.
