Elena, if this thing blows up in our face, remember: only one of us heals quickly.
On Thursday's 2011 finale of The Vampire Diaries, Elena and Damon will formulate a plot to kill Klaus. What will it entail? The trusting of Rebekah, based on the following sneak peek at "Homecoming," which can't be a safe proposition.
Don't worry, though, Damon has a back-up plan. What is it? Hold on, Stefan has to make a demand for a new tie first. Watch the clip now:
Prepare to meet the mother, Vampire Diaries fans.
The show has cast actress Persia White (Girlfriends) in the key role of Abby Bennett, the woman who abandoned Bonnie when she was young. The character will first appear on January 19 and may stick around beyond that.
Look for Abby to have serious guilt issues over leaving her daughter, and for many secrets to leak over over the reasons why she did so.
In other major casting news, The Vampire Diaries announced that Torrey DeVitto - yes, Paul Wesley's wife! - will also join the series in early 2012 as a young doctor who gets close to Alaric. She'll appear on the first episode of the new year
Paul Wesley's wife is headed to Mystic Falls!
In a fun bit of casting news, The Vampire Diaries has signed Torrey DeVitto for a recurring role. The actress appears on Pretty Little Liars as Melissa... and in the Wesley household as the new wife of this series star. They got married in April.
DeVitto will appear on at least two episodes this season - the 10th and 11th - as a doctor who takes an interest in Alaric, specifically his ability to heal quickly.
The actress has also guest-starred on Castle, One Tree Hill and CSI: Miami.
Are you ready to dance, Vampire Diaries viewers?
Tonight's "Homecoming" will take fans inside a major Mystic Falls event, although it appears as if Tyler wants to upstage the festivities with a gathering of his own. Watch the following clip from the 2011 finale to see Caroline stare in amazement at the party thrown by her boyfriend.
Only it's not a party, Tyler tells Stefan. It's a... wake?!?
Whoa, when's the last time Bonnie and Matt shared a moment? Pretty much never, right?
Hold onto your witchy talismans, Vampire Diaries fans, because Bonnie(Kat Graham) and Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) aren't on the road to reconciliation quite yet. As if the couple wasn't having enough trouble after Jer's ghostly ex-girlfriend drama, it seems that a new love interest is going to further complicate matters, according to TV Line.
This time, though, it's Bonnie whose eye starts to wander — in the direction of a charming guy named Jamie, who has more issues than Timemagazine. (What is it with these Mystic Falls ladies and their damaged dudes?) Does this mean Bonemy is done for good?
