Yes, there are so many actresses who have survived without the Khans or rebounded after a fallout. So many come to mind: Vidya Balan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Biphasa Basu, Lara Dutta, Amrita Rao, etc.

It is helpful to star with a Khan, but is it the end of the world? Rani hasn't starred with a Khan for years, although she is coming with Aamir soon. What about Tabu? She had a long career and only did some cameos with them!

So, who is your favorite actress that survived WITHOUT the Khans?

from ur list, bips, lara and amrita were never really famous or truly succesfull.. and they havent been in many movies lol..

Well, these actresses have almost managed to cross the decade mark without any significant hits! What is the secret of their staying power?!

Yes, Jodhaa Akbar, Guru, Robot, Dhoom 2, Bride and Prejudice, Sarkar Raaj, were reasonable commercial earners! So, I define her success a lot without the Khans since 2002! Not to mention her great performances in Raincoat, Chokher Bali, Guzaarish, and Provoked!

Well.... If not a Khan... Ash had Bachchan tag to survive and Rani had the Chopra backing to sail thru...

To a certain extent its only Vidya from you list up there... Again she is relatively new....
