Both Maan and Geet are lonely in their own way.  Each is trying to handle the loss of the baby with whom both were attached, in their own way. While Maan is immersing himself in  his job, Geet is trying to keep alive her baby's memories by spending time with kids.  This brings her the joy and happiness that were snatched with the loss of the baby.  But this can only bring temporary relief. True catharsis for Maaneet will be when they are one in this trying hour and not seek their own solutions to overcome the grief.
