well arjun lost his mom at a young age so he looks upto Geet's mom as his own mother n calls her mom too. if u look at the intro character sketch i have told his brief history of how he calls Anu, Anu mamma, i thought it would be nice of Anu to let him call so since young because she didnt want to make him miss his mom, afterall, he is like her child, Geet.
