Kaajal searches for her bag but is not able to find it. Rajveer comes up from behind with her bag and dangles in the air. Kaajal gets scared and she orders him to return it. Rajveer says that she shouldn't have slapped him and that now she'll have to pay for her stupidity. Kaajal gets very scared and she pleads with him to return her bag. He throws it on the ground and asks her to take it and leave the place. As Kaajal bends to pick it up, he catches hold of her hair and tries to rape her. She screams for help and scratches him on the neck and manages to escape. Rajveer doesn't give up and goes after her. He catches hold of her and when Kaajal tries to free herself from his grip, she loses balance and falls down. Her neck hits the rim of a hard object and she dies on the spot. Rajveer is shocked and goes near Kaajal to check if she is alive. When he puts his puts his hand under her neck, it gets covered with blood and he stares at it transfixed. Rajveer's friends get scared and run away from the scene.
Meanwhile, Ammaji, Joginder, Gajender and Adi hear Kaajal's screams and come out to see what happened. They see a shocked Rajveer and Kaajal lying dead on the floor. Yaspal, at Ammaji's instructions, confirms that the girl is dead. Rajveer gets very scared and he stammers to Ammaji that he did not do anything and that he too came to the scene only after hearing Kaajal's screams. Ammaji notices the scratch marks on his neck and gets to know what exactly happened. She instructs Gajender to take Rajveer inside. Ammaji turns to Adi and asks him to go in as it is his wedding night and that his wife will be waiting for him. After Adi leaves, Ammaji turns to Joginder and asks him to call the police up and let them know that a girl has fallen from the terrace and died.
Santosh, Chanda and Dia too hear the screams and come out to see what the matter is. They see Gajender and Rajveer, and Chanda looks at a shaken Rajveer and asks what happened. Rajveer does not trust himself to speak and stands tongue tied. She notices the blood on his hands and asks him what happened. Gajender replies that nothing has happened and he escorts Rajveer in. The ladies rush outside to see what the matter is.
They see Kaajal's dead body lying on the ground and Chanda freaks out. She continues to rant and rave and tell herself and the others that her son couldn't have done something like this. Ammaji asks her where Avtar is and Santosh replies that he and Karan went out sometime back and they have not returned yet. Ammaji heaves a sigh of relief and asks Santosh to take Chanda in. Dia stands looking at Kaajal's body, shocked. Ammaji asks her to go in and she obeys.
Ammaji strides to her room and asks Rajveer to tell her exactly what happened. He tries to cover up and says that Kaajal was a characterless girl and she said a lot of ill things about the family, Adi and Ammaji and that was why he went near her to teach her a lesson. Ammaji gives him one tight slap and Rajveer falls down at her feet and begs of her to help him. Meanwhile, the rest of the family gather in the room and Chanda tells Ammaji that Rajveer would not have done anything wrong. Ammaji gets furious and tells her that her love for her son is blinding her and that she is not able to see clearly. She says that the fault is Rajveer's and that she knows fully well how bothered he is about the family honour. She tells him that if it had been someone else, she would have handed him over to the police right away. Ammaji tells everyone that Avtar should not get wind of what happened because she can handle any third person but not the righteous man in Avtar. She goes up to Rajveer and asks him if there was anybody present at the crime scene. Rajveer says that there were none.
PRECAP- A tearful and agitated Jhanvi calls up Amba and informs her of Kaajal's death.
