Thursday  17 / 3 /11 - Finally kannan's body gets exposed - apdiye in tact

Veera Dheera MMMM is fighting with slimy KS and Police maama repeatedly
asks MMMM to open the boot ( Director sir, boot ai vera Oru per le solringale,
athu oru bad word nnu ungalukku theriyumaa??? Roja vaa le thirumbi thirumbi
antha usage ai kekka mudiyalai uh huh ) Well well well..... a big crowd witnesses
and ttaattaadaaynggg....... Kannan Irunthaan ange Kannan irunthaan 10 days
kku apramum decompose aagame.....Kannan irunthaan....Kanna aaaaa Kannaaa
 Kannaaa ( Roja in tha BGM Rommmbbbaaa mukkiam, adangave maattiya nee???
 grrr) Apram enna??? MMMM is taken to the police jeep and Archu wants to get
arrested as well ( ayyo da, pappa vai yaar parthuppa??? ) MMMM sings " sathiyam
 oru naal Nichayam jeyikkum" and goes with the police. Of course before that he
manhandles RS and tightens the noose around his neck some more. Archu does
the one thing she is adept at - curses RS and throws sand on the whole family.
RS is patience personified POngi ezhara Sankara Lingam gets pacified " affected
party, apdi thaan kathum.." RS has a smile which sings Naan pOttal theriyum pOdu
verum soozhichiyaal adippen Odu - Dheena consoles Archu and says that he knows
how to get MMMM out .... drama  shifts to the next arena...

Police Station - Inspector doles out dharma adis " Un wife kitte thagaraaru panninaan
nnu kill panniniyaa?? Or he and your wife......" MMMM hits back the inspector. Dheena,
Archu and an advocate enter. MMMM is brought as an exhibition object...Archu sheds copious tears... Finally advocate says that he will pooh pooh the case in the court and
get MMMM released. The couple cry some more ( pOgaathe pOgaathe yen kanavaa,
 pOllatha soppanam naanum kanden - BG by Roja )

 Palace compound of Archu and Co . Kannan's friends hold his snap and cry. Bhanu and
 her husband also come and join the RKO. The responsibility of informing Kannan's family
 is entrusted with a relative. Postmortem nalaikki thaane?? Archu is dropped by Dheena ..after some consoling words,  he leaves. The RKO gumbal adjourns to Archu's threshold. ...RKO continues......

Archu is restless at home.. sensing something wrong n blabbering to her neighbour.. Her neighbour consoles her n ask her to take care of kid n sent her inside the house..after making kid to sleep .. she open her dubba n take off all god's photos n cleans it.. cleans vilakku n lighten it n prays to god that they have to save her nu.. comes out again looking for her darling..

 

In some pub..2 of RS's allakai's marketting themselves to some guy to get some order of vacating some big shot's land.for sample they gives kannan case as example n gives all vaakumulam to that guys.. he is nodding the head n hearing it.. theres our Dirty Dinna(Henceforth DD) is also partying his friends hears all this n tells to himself that he needs to selvam nu solluran..here  archu started to call him.. he informs about RS involvement n tells that he will sue RS.. archu tries to console him.. but no use.. when she turn in n see she found the light is off in vilakku..she opened up tears factory😭😭😭😭..again tries to reach him.. but our man switched off the mobile..DD is also trying to reach selvam hears the tone switched off started to rush in his car.

Update for Wed, Mar 16, 2011:

RS and his cronies - a guy, whose hair has never seen a comb, comes and tells him that he heard Ravi and Bhaskar (the guys who blabbered) tell the other guy all about how RS is trying to frame Selvam for Kannan's murder.  RS is furious that his guys are having the guts to betray him.  The uncombed hair guy goes and calls the police station and tells the Inspector that it is Selvam who has murdered Kannan and is now going about town with the body in his trunk, gives the name and make of the car and the license plate number (and the Inspector doesn't have the brains to wonder how he could know all this in such detail!) and then disconnects without giving his name.  The Inspector jumps up and says, How dare Selvam bring the body to the police station itself in his car and then complain about Kannan's disappearance, I will teach him a lesson (as if he is the one who found out about the body being in Selvam's car!) and gets ready to track down the car.

Selvam is going in his car and a police officer sees the car going and promptly calls the station and informs the Inspector that the car is going towards Ambattur and the Inspector decides to give chase.  Wow, what efficiency on the part of the police, to be able to see the number on a single car and immediately pass on the info, and how swiftly the information has been passed on to all the traffic policemen in town about Selvam's car and the car's registration number - I am really, really impressed!

On the other hand, what gullibility on the part of the same police that they can't even think and wonder how this other anonymous guy knew so much!

Dheena goes to Archana's house, where she is sitting with the baby on her lap, Bhanu and the landlady on either side, landlady saying she knew something bad was going to happen because Vairavar came and said so (who is this Vairavar?).  Dheena wants to know where Selvam is, Archana says she is worried about him because he was so angry and on his way to RS's house, Dheena says he is in big trouble, and says he is leaving immediately.  Archana says she will also go with him (because she can solve all problems!) and help calm Selvam, and goes with him. 


Excitement in the air - Selvam's car is going in one direction, police car is also going, Dheena in his car with Archu looking worried, Selvam's car and someone sitting with a bloodstained shirt, police car, Dheena's car, Selvam's car going on a side road, police car, Dheena's car - you get the picture! 

RS calls the Inspector and asks him if they have found Kannan because they have decided to get Shwetha married to Kannan as she is sobbing so much, and the Inspector blabbers all about Selvam going about town in his car with Kannan's body in the trunk, and they are following him now.  RS is happy.

Selvam and Kannan's friend come to RS's house, Selvam roars out "RAJASEKHAR", RS turns and Selvam grabs his collar and demands to know what he has done to Kannan.  Reva and her mother come there, RS pretends to be a good guy, says he doesn't know what Selvam is talking about, Selvam gets angry and grabs his shirt again, and just as they are coming to blows, Dheena and Archana come there.  Dheena tries to drag Selvam away, Selvam won't come, keeps pushing him away, Archana also tries to make him leave, but Selvam being the MMMM that he is, won't understand and refuses to go with them.  Finally, Dheena gets him out of the house, he is about to get into his car, Dheena pushes him into his own car, and they are about to leave.  Selvam still wants to get out of the car, but Archana manages to pull him back.  RS tells his adiyaals to prevent them from leaving and they surround Dheena's car.  Dheena starts the car, makes them jump back, but right then the police come, and our hero Selvam the great, promptly jumps out and runs to the police Inspector.  The Inspector accuses him of having murdered Kannan, he is puzzled, and Dheena says that this was what they were trying to tell him all this while, and he wouldn't listen (after all, he is not a MMMM for nothing!)

The Inspector drags Selvam to the trunk of his car and orders him to open the trunk.  Selvam is about to open the trunk ...

I offered to do this Friday update, only because I have this faint hope somewhere in me that I will get the chance to paste the Subham in huge letters!  Let me see what today has to offer.

Update for Fri, Mar 18, 2011:

Dheena consoles Archu and leaves.  Bhanu is worrying about how Archu will manage with the green baby (pachai pullai) in Selvam's absence.  Everyone is gathered and Archu is sobbing.  Landlady also promises to stand by Archu.  Archu rails and rants against God, and Landlady consoles her.  Archu keeps sobbing away.  Baby cries at night, Archu tries to console the baby and sobs away.

Selvam has been beaten up badly.  One policeman comes into his cell, Selvam cowers in fright, pc asks him to eat, he says he doesn't want to eat, pc tells him to confess and he asks how can he confess to a crime he didn't commit?  Pc says there is no way to save him, because the case against him is strong, but he doesn't look like a killer (enna, does he expect a killer to wear a sticker on his forehead?).

Sori is all dressed up and so is his family.  They want to know where they are headed, and Sori says it is a secret.  Mom throws out some guesses, Dad has some of his own, and Sori refuses to tell them anything more.  Kavya comes down, she too doesn't know.  Mom wants to go to the temple on the way, and Sori agrees.  I like the way these people can be so scheming and mean on the one hand, but never fail to go to the temple at the drop of a hat, are they praying for more ideas on how to get meaner still?

Archana's house - Sivagami, hubby SH and son Vinod are watching the Rasipalan.  Priya wakes up and asks mom for coffee (don't you brush your teeth first?), mom wants to see Archu's rasipalan, which turns out to be "kaNavan manaivi piriyam koodum..." or some such thing.  Sivagami is pleased.  Right then, Jayanthi's phone rings, she answers it, and say "Ayyayyo, appadiya, etc., " then comes and tells them to switch to the news channel.  Of course, they won't do that without first knowing why (like some people in my family who will also ask Why, Who said so, etc., before doing anything!), finally she grabs the remote and changes the channel (what I am forced to do sometimes!) and the news comes on.  They are talking about a mechanic from Valasarawakkam who murdered someone in his compound, and Selvam's picture comes up.  Sivagami starts her usual lamenting and then she starts coughing, they make her sit down, Vinod gets her inhaler, and then runs to get a taxi.

Sori and his family arrive at the temple, drive straight in (ippadi ellam allow paNNuvangala?) and they want to know what is going on here.  Mom wants to sami kumbidufy, Kavya wants to go to the Vinayagar sannidhi, but Sori says they have not come for sami kumbidufication, and takes them to where a crowd is gathered.  Someone comes and greets them, they go and see Malar is getting married.  I am not sure if this is the guy Gautham, somebody please enlighten me (illaina mandai vedikkum!)  Dad wants to know if this was the date for the wedding, Sori says it was supposed to be held tomorrow, but he has an important meeting.  Malar and her hubby greet them, but Kavya is looking daggers at them!

KaNNeer special!

Everybody is gathered at the police station, outside Selvam's cell.  Selvam is dissolving in his own tears, but Archana tells him that he told her not to cry, he is innocent, so why is he crying now?  Then she turns and tells the crowd also not to cry.  Sori comes up and praises her strength of mind, then he offers to call his lawyer and get Selvam out on bail, but Sivaraman says Dheena has already contacted a lawyer to get Selvam out so it won't be necessary.  Rani sheds a few tears, Poonga says he should have cut up RS a long time back, but Selvam stopped him from doing that.  The Inspector tells them all to move outside and do their crying.

Everyone moves outside, more crying by Rani and Sivagami says it is because she didn't do the sumangali poojai.  Sori is amazed that she believes in this kind of stuff, she says she believes in all this, talks of how Archana and Selvam have faced so many problems and have just started coming up in life, how he and Kavya have had their share of problems but are happy now, she wanted to do this poojai but something happened, and the priest said the poojai should not be done at such a time.  She thinks that is why all this has happened.  Anyway, everyone leaves finally.

Next morning - gathering outside the court, bail has been denied to Selvam and he is led outside in handcuffs.  Archana hands over the baby to him, he dissolves again, asks why this is happening to him, he is not a murderer.  Now for the funny part - the lawyer says that sometimes such things can happen in an "emotional" (what does that mean?) and asks Selvam if he might have done this in an "yemotional"?  Archana gets angry at this and says we don't need a lawyer who suspects my husband, but Sivaraman tells her that he is only doing his job (and doing his job means asking such questions in public, especially with the police present, outside the courts - just where did he learn to practice law?  Has he never heard of "client confidentiality"?  Who gave him the license to practice law?  Probably Mr. Kumaran.)

Next funny thing - RS and his goons are also waiting outside the court, RS inside his van, and the rest of the parattai thalais standing outside.  Now, if anyone saw such a gathering of uncombed hair people outside on the streets, they would automatically assume this was a goonda magaanaadu, and would watch them carefully.  These guys come boldly to the court and stand there?  How is it that they can see and hear all this, but nobody in that big crowd surrounding Selvam even sees them? 

RS gloats at the sight of Selvam in handcuffs and says this will teach a lesson to anyone who dares to stand up to him and defy him.  The lawyer says that now he is convinced that Selvam is innocent and he will break the case (case-ai udaichuduvaen), so that Selvam is freed soon.  Selvam is taken away in the van, and after he leaves, Archana breaks down.  Sivagami asks her how she is crying like this now, when she was so strong earlier, and she says she didn't want Selvam to be upset by seeing her cry (I could have told you this, Sivagami!). 

RS and his parattai thalai friends leave because they want to celebrate.  RS tells Ravi to drive (any significance in his using that guy's name?  Will Dheena hear this and make the connection?)

Thursday - hmmmm Rojaa, nee thaan update - Samy kitte ippOve application pOdu, kOnajamaavathu sakiikkable aa irukkanum nnu

Well, Roja's prayers go unanswered and so this is going to be a bullet points update
uh huh.

RS with his cronies - water beating to celebrate MMMM's abacus training. As usual
Sankara Lingam sings RS ashtohram and RS asks  one of his men to narrate the
modus operandi - " Draw MMMM out of his garage, Place Kannan's body in the boot,
hit the dead body on the head with MMMM's hammer, bury it in his garage.....bingo,
MMMM learns 1 2 3 all over again " RS is told that the two traitors have escaped
" State le illai" RS orders their execution if they set foot in Tamil Nadu again.

MMMM goes to abacus school. Fellow inmates rag him - Veeram pOngi he challenges
" I am innocent and charged with murder. But if you guys needle me...... nijamma oru
 murder panniduvem" (athu sari, pannittaalum)

Archu goes back to her own house in spite of mommy and daddy wanting her to come
and live with them. Punitha calls Shiva urgently and Archu compels him to go to wifey.
As usual, all the women of the street stand around Archu and give the verdict of
" MMMM - a murderer" (court, judge ellam waste. Ivanga ellarum MMMM ai hang panniduvaanga, without any hesitation)  Archu shouts at them, Lady Shiva pleads
 for Mercy but it is the house owner who shuts the Oor mouths. After telling them
all that she has enough stories about each and every one " If I were to wash
YOUR dirty linen......Odunga di ellarum" Archu goes to her palace, Bhanu comes
and laments but the house owner chides Bhanu " be supportive and make her
strong, gotcha??"

Update for Friday, Mar 26, 2011:

Landlady scolds Bhanu for adding to Archana's fears and tells Sivagami to take her inside.  Sivagami worries about how she will stay there by herself under these circumstances and asks her to go to their place.  Archana says that she has only been here for a short while and already the neighbors are talking, it will be worse at her parents' place where she grew up, so she would rather stay here until Selvam is released and then she can hold her head high.  She consoles them and tells them to go home.  Landlady also reassures them, so they leave.  Sivagami is tearful and Bhanu and landlady reassure her.

Shwetha is furious and throwing plates and dishes around.  Mom scolds her and she says she will take revenge on her father for killing Kannan and putting the blame on a good man.  Dad comes in and scolds her and starts hitting her, but she curses him and says Naasamaa pO, nee nalla irukka maattae, neeyum RSum serndhu Kannanai kolai paNNi pazhiyai Selvam mele pottadhai Commish kitte solluven.  He locks her up in a room and when wifey protests, locks her up too.  This serial is nothing short of a third rate serial now.  I dislike this sort of abuse.  I hope he and RS get put away for life or better, hang to death.

RS gets a call from Sankaralingam, who wants to talk to him privately.  As usual, he orders Mangalam to serve a murugal dosai and throws the one she gave him, then goes to answer the phone upstairs.  Reva comes and Mangalam tells her to call her father before the dosai becomes cold.  RS scolds Sankaralingam for allowing Shwetha to talk like this, and tells him to kill his daughter.  He cites his own example of how he got rid of Vasu, how he has Reva under his control and how he killed Kannan and put the blame on Selvam to take revenge on him.  Reva is outside the door and listening to all of this, but when he comes outside, she acts as if she just came there and calls him to eat.  She resolves to get Selvam freed, now that she knows the truth.

Archana is dressing the baby when someone knocks.  Sivagami is there, saying she didn't sleep all night.  Archana tells her not to worry, she is strong, but Sivagami needs to take care of herself.  Sivagami checks the pots and pans, they are all clean and she worries that Archana would not have eaten anything, but Archu says the landlady gave her food, and she is not worried about Selvam.  She is confident that he will be released soon as he is innocent, and she needs strength to go around, seeing the lawyer to secure Selvam's release.  Sivagami marvels at her daughter's inner strength.  Archana is about to leave when Kavya and Cherry come there.  Kavya does her share of crying, but Archu reassures her, saying Selvam is going to be declared innocent soon.  Cherry apologizes for not coming to the court, and says he just met Dheena and the lawyer and thinks the lawyer is a good guy, he is confident of getting Selvam released soon.  He tells Archu there is no need to go and meet the lawyer and tells her to take rest.  Cherry offers some money to Archana for expenses, but Archu declines, saying their nalla manasu is enough for her.

Thank God Archana is strong and showing that this serial has some justification in naming it after her.
