Pushpa tries to tell NA that "ponnu" was missing so everyone will obviously tense. Sokku manages by saying she was referring to Maha. PP brothers escort NA outside. D starts yelling at Pushpa that she was trying to ruin Kaamu's life. Yelling match b/w Pushpa, Meena and D. Sokku comes inside, yells at the women and tells them not to create more problems.

Gopi and Moorthy go to Shakti's hut. Moorthy says Shakti's family was a very poor family. Shakti's father welcomes them and ask them why they were here. Moorthy says he was looking for Shakti. When Shakti's father goes inside to get juice, Gopi and Moorthy look around for Shakti. Moorthy then reveals Shakti being missing with Gopi's sister. Shakti's father curses Shakti and for Paramu being stupid to be with Shakti. He promises to tell them about Shakti the moment he knows anything. Moorthy then takes Gopi to meet Senthil.

Meanwhile Shakti and Paramu are with Senthil. Paramu refuses to go home. Shakti says he plans to marry Paramu the next day. Paramu refuses to get married. Moorthy calls Senthil, but he doesn't answer the phone. Senthil tells Paramu to go back home, but Paramu refuses. Paramu goes to use rest room. Senthil talks badly about Paramu, and Shakti almost hits him. Senthil warns Shakti that once Paramu comes to know about Shakti's truth, what would she do. Shakti says after marriage Paramu cannot do anything. Once Paramu comes back, Shakti convinces her that marriage was the only solution. Paramu agrees hesitantly. Senthil, Shakti and Paramu leave.

Just then Moorthy and Gopi come to the rice mill and find out Senthil just left. Moorthy calls Senthil from another cell and Senthil answers. Moorthy yells at him and asks him if he knows about Shakti. Senthil says he knows nothing. He hangs up and then tells Shakti and Paramu that people have started looking for them and they have to get out of Karaikudi immediately.

Meanwhile, NA calls Moorthy and tells him to return immediately. Moorthy tells Gopi he has to go. Gopi polambifying about soornalai, vedanai...same story. Moorthy promises him that he will only marry Kaamu and no one else. Shakti goes near his house and tells Paramu he will be back in a few mins. Paramu is crying in the car and Senthil look vittufying her.
