Tanisha's sister comes hurriedly into Adi's room and tells him that her sister wants to talk to him urgently. Ammaji is annoyed and tells her that the bride and the groom are not supposed to meet or talk to each other before the wedding. Ammaji tells her that she would go to Tanisha herself and give her a piece of her mind.
Ammaji goes to Tanisha's room and admonishes her for wishing to talk to Adi despite telling her not to. She continues to shout at her until Tanisha's father intervenes. He apologizes on Tanisha's behalf. Tanisha tells her father not to apologize as she has not done anything wrong and since she is Adi's future wife, she has all the right to know about his personal life. She then shows her father the newspaper and tells them all that had happened concerning Ronnie. She asks Ammaji if Adi is responsible for the guy's death. Ammaji is furious and asks her how she dares accuse her and her grandson of murder. She turns to her parents and tells them that it not Tanisha's fault that she talks disrespectfully to elders, but theirs as they have not brought her up properly. She accuses Tanisha's parents of sending their daughter alone to their house to woo Adi. She tells them that they have no sense of customs and traditions as they have shamelessly settled down in their daughter's would-be sasural . Everyone is very upset at Ammaji's outburst. On her way out, Ammaji spots Santosh and asks her why she did not talk sense into Tanisha and tell her right from wrong. She tells her that it was her duty to as she is the daughter-in-law of the house.
Santosh, with folded hands, apologizes to everyone on Ammaji's behalf. She and Tanisha hug each other and Tanisha's father tells Satosh that it was Tanisha's fault as she should not have unnecessarily doubted her future husband. He tells her that because of Tanisha they had to face humiliation. Tanisha is tearful.
Ammaji is in a foul mood and Gajender asks her what would happen now as they have tried everything to stop the marriage but nothing has happened so far in their favour. Ammaji asks him to trust his mother as she will not let her grandson get married to 'that girl'
Just then, Yashpal announces the arrival of a Chaudray and his family. Instantly Ammaji's mood changes and they proceed to receive their 'important guests'. Chaudhary and wife arrive by car and they apologize for turning up too early for the marriage. Ammaji is all smiles and tells them that only outsiders come late for a marriage. Just then Chaudhary's daughter gets out of the car [ Her entry is shown from the feet upwards, accompanied with sound effects] The Chaudharys introduce their daughter to Ammaji and Ammaji is highly pleased at her beauty. They are escorted in and Ammaji gushes non-stop about Ragini's (Chaudhary's daughter) beauty. They wish to see the groom and Ammaji asks Yashpal to fetch Adi. Meanwhile, she spots Tanisha's parents and introduces them to the Chaudharys. Adi too joins them and Mr. Chaudhary, noticing the back belt on Tanisha's father's waist, enquires about it. He begins to explain when Ammaji cuts him short and tells Chaudhary that a weak man cannot take the responsibility of his daughter's marriage. Ammaji then continues to gush about Ragini and tells them that if she had seen her before, she would have definitely asked them for Ragini's hand in marriage for Adi as they make a very good couple. Everyone is uncomfortable and embarrassed and Avtar takes Tanisha's father along with him on the pretext of talking to the caterer.
Rajveer's friends check out the girls in the wedding via their video camera. The girls become conscious and move away. Rajveer's friends are disappointed and Kaajal looks at them in disgust. Rajveer offers to provide them with some entertainment and his friends ask him to go up to Kaajal and give her a kiss and a hug. Kaajal overhears then and glares at Rajveer. Rajveer tells his friends that the time is not right and that he would do it later.
Tanisha is alone in her room and she recollects all the conversations she had had with Adi regarding Ronnie and their flying back to the U.S. She is tearful and wonders what has gone wrong. She feels that her dreams would be shattered very soon and she fears the future and wonders what it has in store for her.
