Gulaal tells Reva and Devika to handle the practice for the school kids from now on as she is going to be taking care of the factory. Reva objects but Gulaal tells her that she has faith in her and she'll ask Yogesh to come help them after his work hours.
Gulaal opens the factory and remembers the time when she came there while Vasant was alive. The women gifted her a choli and she wore it and Vasat was speachless seeing her. She asks him where he had gone leaving her and he tells her that he can never leave her as she is wearing him on her body. Gulaal looks at her outfit and sees his reflection in the silver pieces of the choli.
The workers come in and she tells that she will be handling the factory from now on and Rama won't come. He has challenged all of us that this factory cannot be run without him. She says that she needs their support but does not want them to work without pay so she hands over her jewelery and asks them to accept the little she has now and help her rebuild this factory.
Raman is smiling to himself and Sudha asks him if he has lost his marbles (š I like Sudha now). Raman tells her that he is happy because he knows Gulaal will loose. The workers won't work with her without pay and even if she convinces them then she still doesn't have any money to pay of the vendors. And without paying off previous balance the vendors won't deliver raw material to the factory. He says that Gulaal will have to realize that women are not meant for business and their place is at a man's feet. Sudha looks pissed off (i see the feminist in her rising).
At the factory the workers tells Gulaal who the regular vendors are and she calls them and they refuse to give her material until previous debt is paid. She tries to reason with them for time but they refuse.
Dushyant is worried how Gulaal will manage everything. Sudha gives him the idea to steal the money that Raman stole from the factory and use that to help Gulaal. They both steal the money and Dushyant pays money to the vendor and he delivers the material. Gulaal is surprised when the material comes but is not happy when Dushyant explains where the money came from. Dushyant doesnt' understand her logic (a sane person won'tš) and asks how is this stealing. Gulaal says that she cannot do the same thing that Raman did as then there will be no difference between her and him. She tells his to return the material and bring the money back. Then she goes in and prays to Goddess to show the way.
A foreigner comes in with an order but he speaks English. So Gulaal calls on Devender (Talli's father) to come and translate for them. The guy tells them that he has started a small shop in Jaipur (i think) and wants 100 cholis with a certain type of work in 15 days. He wants to know if they can do it in such short notice. Gulaal asks the worker who say they can do it if they work all day and night. Gulaal agrees but tells him to pay half the amount now so they can buy raw material. He pays them 2 lakhs.
In the eve, Dushyant walks in dejected ( i feel bad for him). Sudha secretly asks him if he was successful but he tells her that Gulaal has gone crazy after ideals like Mota ba and refused to take the money. Sudha asks how will Gulaal manage the factory then? Gulaal walks in and Raman makes fun of her for coming home early. He sees the bag in her hand and asks if she didn't get any orders so she started stitching clothes for locals. Gulaal opens the bag and drops all the money Raman stole on the table. Gulaal tells him proudly that he is welcome to have it as she will not rebuild Motaba's factory with a cent of stolen money. She then shows him the check for 2 lakhs and tells him that he will be sad to know that the factory will remain open and does not need him. Sudha and Dushyant look happy.
