Star TV Network has confirmed to BizAsia.co.uk that Balaji Telefilms show 'Tere Liye' will be ending next month, to be replaced by 'Navya'.
Whilst the show was doing averagely in the primetime slot, it's come as a surprise for its exit. Speculation suggests that things between Ekta Kapoor and Star Plus have once again hit a rocky patch.
'Navya' is a simple love story about a girl's journey and how her life changes when she gets married. Navya belongs to a middle class North Indian family in Mumbai. Newcomer Soumya Seth has been cast as Navya and Kshitee Jog plays her mother. Saheer Shaikh plays Navya's love interest who is also a newcomer.
'Navya' launches on Star Plus UK on Monday 11th April at 22:00.
