PART - 27
They slowly walked back to their car…..but looked back at the temple again together….lots of memories attached to it……..Angad kept a hand on her shoulder and smiled at her …They walked towards passenger seat and he opened the door for her….She sat back smiling at him and waited for him to join….Angad sat in and looked at Kripa…..For some reason, she looked even more beautiful today……
K: Angad…chalo na….aab to mein piche bhi nahi baithi hun…..tum driver nahi lagoge….she said chuckling…..Angad grinned and started the car……The slow songs playing in the background…..
Once the breakfast was over, Gayatri and Surya talked to Prithvi and Damini and told them about the marriage…..Prithvi promised to come without fail and Harshini's parents too decided to come with them…..Damini said that she would pre-pone their trip and do Mishti's shopping here itself…..They asked for Josh's no. as well, so they could convey him about the marriage at night….
As promised Ashok had sent the decorators and caterers to Dilip's house, early morning….Dilip and Surya along with Gayatri and Avantika went to Surya's house and decided all the details…..The decorators told them that they would also decorate the doli as well as the huge pots necessary for the barat and had the live band ready along with horse and other things necessary…...Arjun also went with them and was delighted to see the house, the manager offered them to show Arjun around and they readily agreed.…..Ashok had already started the work to have the door fixed….and Surya was told that it would be done by evening…..Surya was quite impressed and thanked the people…..They came back soon and decided the menus with the help of Divya and Kartik….When the caterer came to know about the evening function, he told them that they could supply the food for today evening too if they want, without any problem….Dilip and Surya had decided to call only 8-10 families for today's function which included Ashok's family, Divya's family, Avantika's sister and her family and few close friends…..So they agreed to caterer and decided to go with it….
Kripa called Kanan once she reached home and asked her to come early…..Kanan promised she would be there by 4 and help her get ready…..
Avantika and Gayatri became busy for the evening function and puja…All the things they needed for puja was delivered including sweets and flowers…..Kripa and Angad decorated the puja room together with Dadi and Arjun's help with flowers and decorated Srinathji Idol with new clothes and jewelry.…..Kartik was out to airport as Netra, Anita, Manik and Aliyah were coming till afternoon……Divya was helping Ramu with the cooking, as there were around 15-16 people for lunch……Ramu just asked her to sit and cut vegetables and give him and that would be more than enough…..Avantika was satisfied with the suggestion and went to look at other things without getting worried about Divya…...Dilip and Surya were talking about other details relating to wedding….
At last around 1 Netra and the kids walked in….The atmosphere became festive…..Anita and Manik congratulated Angad and Kripa and Aliyah was just jumping in joy….she hugged both Kripa and Angad tightly grinning at them and then hugged Divya as well happily congratulating …..She had known about her pregnancy when she was in Delhi…..She was overjoyed to know that she was going to be bua……Aliyah was overjoyed to know that Arjun was going to attend the same school as hers….Netra and Gayatri too got reacquainted with each other, telling about each other's life……Gayatri was shocked to hear of Netra's husband and how much he had suffered and with them the kids as well…..But Netra carefully changed the subject after a while, not wanting to spoil the occasion…..They all sat to have their lunch after some time……Once done, Netra and the kids went up to get some rest….
After lunch, Gayatri and Avantika sent Angad and Kripa to their rooms as well and asked Divya to take rest too….They finished the remaining work and then went up to rest and refresh….
Kanan was right on time and Kripa was delighted to see her….They talked about past 4 months….Kripa told her about her book and studies….and talked about her friends…….etc….At around 6 Divya came in Kripa's room and asked if she needed any help….Kripa just asked her to sit and talk with them….They talked for some time, till Gayatri came in and asked them all to get ready…..Soon they went to their rooms and changed their dresses….Aliyah and Anita joined Kripa and others in Kripa's room….arguing about which hairstyle, Kripa should do….Kripa, Kanan and Divya chuckled and at last they decided that Kripa should keep her hair loose, as it would look more good….They helped her wear her necklace and earrings….prepared bangle set according to Kripa's dress color….then Aliyah bought her make up kit and Anita helped her do light makeup…..as she was expert in it….At Kripa was ready…..All 4 of them complemented her and took some photos from her camera….
Other side, Angad was also ready in few minutes….Arjun came in all dressed in Rajashthani costume which he had selected and grinned at him….
Ar: Kyun jiju….lag raha hun na pura rajashthani….he said chuckling….Angad smiled
A: Ekdum saale sahab…..Koi rajashthani kudi dekhe tumhare liye….he asked chuckling….
Ar: Na…..mein khud dhundunga…..pata nahi aap kise pakad ke layenge…..he said frowning…..
Kartik laughed at him…
K: Arjun tu 13 saaal ka hi hai na…..he asked raising her eyebrow….
Ar: Haan kyun…..? He asked confused….
K: Kuch nahi….bus confirm kar raha tha….he asked chuckling looking at Angad….Kyun bhai taiyar ho na….
A: Are mein kab ka taiyar hun…..meri dulhan ka intazar kar raha tha…..he said chuckling….
Ar: Mein bulake laun jiji ko?
A: Haan…bilkul…bol dulhe raja raah dekh rahe hain apne dulhan ki…..he said chuckling….Arjun grinned and ran off and Kartik started laughing…
K: Teri pitai nishchit hai Angad……he said putting a hand on his shoulder….grinning at him.
A: Agar Kripa abhi samne aa jaye na to pitai bhi karva lunga, bhai….he said laughing….
Kartik shook his head and laughed at his brother….
K: Kuch to sharam kar Angad..…..he said chuckiling…..Angad just laughed at him…..
Back to Kripa….she was talking to Divya and Kanan and they were sharing there experiences with her about their marriages….The door opened….and Arjun came in….
A: Jiji….Jiju ne kaha hai…..dulhe raja raah dekh rahe hain apne dulhan rani ki….he said grinning and ran away as quickly as he came…..Kripa blushed and others started laughing……
K: Kyun Kripa chale…..dulhe raja ne nyota bheja hai…..Kanan said laughing….Kripa chuckled looking at them…
D: Dulhe raja jara jyada hi utavale ho rahe hain…..
A few minutes later Manik came and told them that Avantika massi was calling them down, as all the guests were asking about Kripa…
They all started going out after checking themselves once again…..Gayatri and Surya too came out of the room and their gaze fell on Kripa…….They looked at her with tears in their eyes…...Gayatri went to her and hugged her blinking her tears….Kripa looked up at Surya who also came and hugged her kissing her on her forehead...No words were needed…….Surya nodded her to go down with Divya and others……and Kripa shyly went with them…...Downstairs already everyone was waiting for them……
G: Kitni pyari lag rahi hai na ……Gayatri said to Surya, looking at Kripa who was going down with the girls….
Surya just nodded, trying to control his feelings…….It was so difficult to let go….To see his daughter going away from them…..He looked at Gayatri….he did not understand this pain a girl and her parents go through till today….
G: Aise kya dekh rahe hain aap…
S: Kuch nahi…..soch raha tha ki ek ladki apna parivar chod kar kaise dusre ghar ko apne pyar se pura karti hain….Tumhe kaisa mehsus kiya tha Gayatri jab tum apne parivar ko chod kar ayi thi?
G: Sach bolun, to mujhe is ka ehsaas hai hi nahi….she said looking far away…..Jab aap ke ghar ayi, tab pata chala pyar kya hota hai, parivar kya hota hai….Tayaji ke ghar to mein bas ji rahi thi…..din kaat rahi thi…..Subah hoti, phir sham, phir raat….Par na unsubahon mein ma ke haathon ka khana milta….sham ko ma padhai karne ya bhagwan ke age diya jalane nahi bithati, raat ko loriyan nahi gati…..bas ek ajab sa sannatta rehta un ratton mein.….par jab apke sath ayi, to mano naya jeevan mil gaya……Jine ki nayi disha mil gay…..Aap ke apnepan ne, pyar ne to mera jeevan mein itne diye bhar diye, ek paal ke liye bhi andhera nahi mila...….aur Bhaisa, bhabhi, kakisa aur Avantika bhabhi, inlogon ke pyar aur apnepan se bhi dil bhar ata tha…..kabhi kabhi lagta ki ye sab ek sapna hai, aur abhi ankhen kholunungi aur wapas apne purane kamre mein akele paungi khud ko…..she said blinking back her tears…….Surya was surprised as well as shocked to hear this from Gayatri…..In all these years they have been married, Gayatri had never talked about all this ever……He remembered Devyani's words "Jab pata chala ki woh apne ma ke liye kitna tarasti thi, to ji chaha ki uske itni saalon ki kami pura karungi….par jab tu chala gaya, aur phir piche mud kar dekha bhi nahi, to aisa laga ki meine ek beta kho diya hai, Gayatri ko mein woh pyar nahi de payi, jiske liye woh bechari tadapti, uski ankhon mein meine woh sunapan dekha tha"
Surya walked back in the room with tears in his eyes…..He felt guilty…..Gayatri frowned and went in her room to see what was wrong…..Surya slowly turned around with tears….Gayatri was taken aback…..
G: Kya hua ji…..? She asked concerned…..Surya looked down guiltily…..Slowly he looked up….
S: Mujhe maaf kar do Gayatri….mein tumhara guneghar hun…...he said looking down again….Meine tumse tumhara parivar cheena…….
G: Aap ye kya keh rahe hain? Aap ne to mujhe itna pyar diya…..aapke karan itne naye rishte mile…..itne logon ka pyar milya…..do pyare bache mile…..to aap kaise keh sakte hain, ki aap ne mera parivar cheena…..aap hi ne to ye saab diya mujhe……aap nahi hote, to pata nahi mein kahan hoti……
S: Nahi Gayatri….meine tumhe Kakisa se, bhaiya bhabhi se….saab se dur kiya…..itni dur le gaya ki unki awaj bhi tum tak pahunche nahi….tumhare dukh ko, tumhare aasunoo ko kabhi dekha hi nahi…..bas apne bare mein sochta raha….beti ka bhavishya dekhta raha…….Magar aaj jab Kripa ki aur dekha, tab ye khayal aa raha tha, ki kya woh is parivar mein khush rahegi……tabhi tumhara bhi khayal aya ki tumne bhi to ek ghar chod kar apna naya ghar basaya….tumhare bhi to kitne sapne the……shayad waise hi sapne Kripa ki ankhon mein bhi hai…….par us waqt tumhare sapnon ko shayad thik se padh hi nahi sakha…..nahi to aise parivar se alag hota hi nahi kabhi……he said blinking his tears……
Gayatri went to him with a smile……and kept a hand on his shoulder and made him look at her…..
G: Aapke faisle par mujhe pura bharosa tha…..aap se hi to naye rishte mile…..agar aap khush nahi rehte, to mein kaise khush reh pati yahan……Aapki khushi se hi meri khushi judi hai…..aur jitni chinta aap ko Kripa ki thi, mujhe bhi thi….Aap ne parivar cheena nahi ji…..aapne to itna pyar diya saab ko….ki mayake ki bhi yaad nahi ayi kabhi……aisa laga, mano jitna bachpan mein khoya ussase kahin jyada paya meine……Saab se dur hone ka dukh tha….par aapke saath ne, usse bhi bhula diya…..yaad ati sabki, par aapko bachon ko haste dekhti to baki saab dhundla ho jata...aur aap Kripa ki bhi chinta mat kijiye……Itna pyara parivar mila hai…..Angad jaisa jeevan sathi mila hai…..Ye uska saubhagya hi hai.…Mujhe pura yakin hai ki woh yahan bahot khush rahege……
Surya nodded sighing and closed his eyes for a second….He opened and looked at her and kissed her forehead and hugged her….
S: Niche chale….saab intajar kar rahe hain…...Gayatri nodded smiling and they went down together…..
Avantika smiled at Kripa when she saw her coming down and went to her…..
A: Mama papa kahan hai beta? She asked Kripa….
K: Ji…ma woh thodi der baad ayenge….
A: Acha koi baat nahi……chal saab tujhse milne ke liye utavle ho rahe hain….she said with a smile….Kripa blushed a little but nodded…Divya beta tere mama papa aye hain….Jakar dekh jara unhe kuch chahiye to nahi…..Mein puchne gayi thi….par jhijhak rahe hain shayad…..she said sighing….However hard Avantika had tried to tell them, to feel at home here, and consider them their family and do not hesitate, still their status as well as well as their traditions about not asking much in daughters house always made them hesitate……Divya nodded a little sadly, and went to them…….Anita Aliyah….jao puja room mein jakar dekho guruji ko aur kuch to nahi chahiye na…..They too went to follow the directions…..
Avantika kissed Kripa's forehead and hugged her…
A: Bahot pyari lag rahi ho…..she said smiling at her…..she then introduced her to all the people around…..She took her to the Family room where everyone was waiting…..Divya went to her parents and touched their feet and hugged her mother….Her mother smiled and looked at her lovingly…..She gave a small box to her with a smile….Beta kesar hai….tere liye…..do-teen mahinon baad dudh mein dalkar pina……thik hai….Divya nodded with tears….
D: Ma aap ko pani ya sharbat chahiye…..chal kar aye honge na…..
Divya's Mom: Na beta….Kartik ne gadi bheji thi…..Hum thik hai….tum mehmanon ko dekho…..
D: Ma baitho to sahi….
Divya's dad: Na beta….hum bilkul thik hai….tu chinta mat kar…..teri tabilyat thik hai na…..Jyada bhag daud nahi karna…..
Divya smiled and nodded..….Kripa came near them and touched their feet…..Divya's mom smiled at her and patted her face blessing her….her dad too kept a hand on her head and blessed her.…Her parents looked at eachother and then a little hesitantly gave a small gift they bought for her……It was a wall hanging they had made….Kripa thanked them and opened the little box and was delighted….
K: Vow…..Kakisa….yeh to bahot sundar hain…..Itna sundar kaam to sirf aap hi kar sakte hain……..she said looking at it, touching and looking at the details….….Bahot pyara hai…hain na bhabhi….she said grinning at Divya….Divya smiled and nodded, grateful to Kripa that she had liked it….She knew her parents could not afford expensive gifts….Kakisa, aap ek aisa meri college ki saheli ke liye bhi please banakar dijiye na…..woh mere shadi mein ayegi….tab dungi use…..usse bhi bahot pasand hai….
Divya's mother was delighted…..Thik hai beta jarur banadungi……Kripa smiled and thanked her…..Kartik came near them and touched their feet too….
D: Lau Kripa, tumhare room mein rakh ati hun ye…..
K: Nahi bhabhi…..aap niche upar mat kijiye….She spotted Arjun and called him…..she introduced him to her parents and then asked him to put the wall hanging in her room….He took the bag and ran up……Divya's mom smiled at her with love…..Her obvious love and concern for their daughter touched their heart and they were greateful that their daughter had got so loving family……They were a little concerned about her, as Kripa came from other country and was from a rich family and well know amongst the old royalities of Rajashthan……They had met her once 4 months back, when she had come to see the company……but they hardly were together for 5-10 minutes…...But looking at her, now they were a little relieved that she was loving and caring person as well…..
Avantika and Dilip came with Surya and Gayatri and introduced them to Divya's parents……Gayatri told them that Kripa had told them about they being wonderful artist and were definetly looking forward to see their work in near future……They talked about the marriage date…etc. and Gayatri praised them about Divya saying she was a wonderful loving girl and told them about the Marriage ghaghra she had made for Kripa…..Divya's mom lovingly touched Divya's face, proud of her……
Later Avantika and Dilip introduced them to Ashok's wife and other families who were good friends……A servant came to Avantika and told her that some one was waiting at the door, asking about Angad….Avantika excused her self and went to the door……Anita came to ask about some thing they needed and Gayatri went with her…..
A: Jee….aap….?Gayatri was walking to the puja room, when she looked at the doorway and was surprised….she told Anita, where she could find the things needed and then went near the door where Avantika also had reached….
G: Josh beta….tum….
J: Namaste aunty…he said grinning and touching her feet…..
A: Tum janti ho inhe Gayatri…? She asked smiling…
Gayatri nodded and smiled at Avantika…
G: Bhabhi ye Angad ka London ka dost Josh hai…..
A: Are haan haan….Angad aksar tumhari baat karta rehta beta….she said smiling at him….Josh smiled at her and touched her feet….…Par Gayatri tum kaise janti ho Josh ko….she asked surprised…..
G: Meri saheli Damini ka hone wala damad hai yeh bhabhi….US aya tha, iski sagai ke bare mein hi bataya tha mein…….
A:Acha….haan haan, yaad aya..….. Bahot acha kiya bte ke tum aa gaye…..
G: Mujhe pata nahi tha ki tum aa rahe ho…..she said smiling….
J: Are Aunty, mein bin bulaya mehman hun…..Aaj jab Mishti ne subah bataya to vishwas hi nahi hua….So aa gaya Angad ke kaan khinchane….Vaise Kripa ke bhi khinchne hai….Bhai kehti hai….par khud ke sagai mein bhi nahi bulati…. aaj to Angad ki pitai hone wali hai…..gadhe ki aaj sagai hai, aur bataya bhi nahi, ek phone bhi nahi kiya….Avantika and Gayatri chuckled….
A: Andar to aao beta…..woh saab itni jaldi fix ho gaya ki….Aliyah came to Avantika and Gayatri….
A: Ma, Kakisa….aap donon ko Guruji bula rahe hain….Avantika nodded at her and told her they would be there in two min…
G: Beta safar se aye ho…muh haath dhokar fresh ho jao…she said smiling….
A: Haan Josh, niche uss side ek room hai…..wahan bathroom bhi hai…..jao wahin fresh hoke aa jao…
J: I hope mein late nahi hua…..
G: Nahi beta, puja abhi shuru hua hai, puja ke baad sagai hogi...….par jaldi karna...…puja room mein aajao 5-10 minute mein….thik hai….Josh grinned and nodded……He went in the room ….
Gayatri and Avantika went to the puja room…….and sat for the puja, where Surya, Dilip and Angad were already sitting…..Angad sulking a little, as he could not meet Kripa till now….He was called down immediately for the puja, once he was ready……Kartik had laughed at him and escorted him in the puja room, before joining others in the family room……
After a few minutes……Anita went to call Kripa, grinning at the obvious sulky Angad..…. she was sitting in the Family room with all the guests, talking ….
A: Kripa bhabhi…..chaliye, guruji bula rahe hain…..aur aapke dulhe raja, bechain ho rahe hain….Kanan and Anita giggled and took her with them….while Kripa's heart was pounding with anticipation and excitement…..she had listened to her parents saying that Angad was already in the puja room……
Divya asked her parents and the other guests to join in the puja room as well……It was a huge room, so there was no problem for all to fit in…..There were some chairs kept for the guests to sit at the back of the room…..Large carpet lay down, for those who wanted to sit down…..Already Surya and Gayatri as well as Avantika and Dilip were together doing Ganesh puja…..Guruji asked her to sit in between Surya and Gayatri…..Angad was already seated with Avantika and Dilip….Angad smiled as soon as he saw Kripa entering……His breathe caught at the sight of her…..Amazing, was the word which came to his mind, when he looked at her…..She was blushing and looking down….. he did not have words to describe her…..How he wished that everyone in the room would disappear and he would be alone with Kripa…..He wanted to touch her….feel her….Kripa could feel his gaze on her, though she did not look up…..too shy to do so…..she could not take the heat of his gaze any more…..she blushed and bit her lips and tried to calm her beating heart…...Kanan and Divya giggled looking at Angad, whose gaze was totally focused on Kripa….They slowly made Kripa sit….Gayatri and Surya looked at her with smile, so did Dilip and Avantika…..Dadi's eyes were filled with tears…..She looked at the Srinathji Idol and remembered her husband putting his hand on Angad and Kripa's head, taking his last breathe, saying "Thakur ji ke samne bani ye jodi se bada sach to aur koi nahi…….Bilkul Radha Kishan ki Jodi hai……Humesha khush raho….sada suhagan raho…..bhagwan tum donon ko sari khushiyan de……" With satisfaction and smile she looked back at Angad and Kripa, doing puja with their parents together……
Angad kept staring at Kripa, wishing she would look up at least once…..as if Kripa knew what he wanted…..she slowly looked up and their eyes met……..He froze in his spot…..Once again, they were alone in midst of the crowd……their eyes only for eachother……She would be his after today…….He tried to remember, the time when his dadaji had asked him to fill her maang….a blurry vision of that came in front of his eyes…..he slowly smiled at her with love…..his eyes filled with passion and desire…..it was as if he could not take his eyes off him……Kripa looked down blushing……closing her eyes for a second…..
Ar: Angad jiju…jiji bahot achi dikh rahi hai na….he asked grinning….
A: Hmmm…ek kaam kar mera…..
Ar: Kya?
A: Jiji ko kaan mein jakar bolna….I love you….
Arjun laughed at him and grinned mischiviously…..he went to Kripa and whispered in her ear….
Ar: Jiju ne I Love you kaha hai….he whispered in her ear…..laughing, he went back to Angad and sat their….Kripa blushed and bit her lips…..Behind her, Kripa heard the girls giggling and knew they had heard……She was turning redder every minute…..
Angad grinned at Arjun, when he came back….He found Aliyah and Anita giggling…..and Kripa getting redder….He winked at them, while Divya looked at him a little sternly indicating him to concentrate on the puja….He nodded grinning and looked back at the Srinathji Idol…..
Josh came back after changing within 5 minutes and went out….he looked around quite impressed….The huge columns….ceilingss….the carvings….everything looked wonderful….He went towards the puja room where Gayatri had pointed….and sat behind on the chair watching the priest perform puja….He grinned, at the traditional way it was been done, as far as he knew, engagements were just a ceremony where the girl and boy exchanged rings……but this looked quite different……He knew that Angad's parents were followers of Srinathji, and followed all the traditions and rituals, as Angad had told him quite a few times, when he had tried to tell him to have a glass of beer or wine or asked him to try non-veg..….He grinned and looked at Angad who was staring at his bride, he was looking good in traditional attire and a big tilak on his forehead and pagdi..….Kripa looked stunning too…..And he could see beautiful girls surrounding her….He was about to whistle looking at them, when he stopped himself, in time, bitting his toungue..….He concentrated on the ceremony….The photographer was clicking the photos and he could feel the heat of the bright light overhead…..
After the puja, Everyone bowed before the Idol and did the Aarti…...Guruji sprinkled holy water on all the people present there and blessed everyone…….Guruji asked Surya to call Kripa's brother…..Surya called Arjun forward……He tied a traditional pagdi on his head and Guruji did his tilak……Arjun was grinning and looked at his mom and dad with a smile……Gayatri and Avantika chuckled at his obvious enthusiasm…...Surya then asked him to put tilak on Angad's head…..Then he gave him a sword and asked him to give it to Angad….Arjun looked at the big sword and grinned, he gave it to Angad and then Gayatri handed him some clothes sweets and gold chain to give to Angad…..Once Arjun gave everything to him, Gayatri asked him to touch Angad's feet and take blessings……
Once the ritual was done Guruji took the rings from near the idol's feet…..Everyone got up as Guruji handed over the rings to Angad and Kripa…..Angad slowly took her hands and slipped the ring in her finger…squeezing it a little…Everyone clapped and cheered for them….Later, Angad grinned at Kripa, when she looked up at him for a second taking his ring from Guruji, she looked down shyly…….He bought his hands forward smiling…….everyone laughed at his eagerness and Kripa blushed……she slowly slipped the ring on Angad's finger…..looking at him shyly…She started to take her hand back….when Angad held it tightly……Kripa tried to wriggle a little looking down, hoping he would leave it…….Every one chuckled at Angad and and all of them threw rose petals on them shouting and cheering……Angad winked at her and then slowly pulled her near to him, shocked as well as a little shy, she stood near him with pounding heart….her cold hands in his, and the way his hand moved over her fingers making her tingle all the way to her toes…..he bought his face near hers kissed her on her cheeks, saying I love u in her ears.…There was a big loud cheer in the room…..…Devyani laughed at them and went and hugged them both……they touched her feet and hugged her from either side……Later Angad grinned and put a hand on Kripa's shoulder and their parents smiled looking at the lovely couple……Divya's mother covered her face smiling shyly, not used to this type of display…… Josh whistled loudly and…...That was when Kripa saw Josh grinning at them….
K: Josh….she said surprised…..Angad looked up too, as he saw Josh coming towards them grinning…..Josh tum kab aye….aur tumhe kaise pata chala…she said hugging him….
J: Tum dono kahoge nahi to nahi pata chalega kya? He said grinning and then frowned at them….aaj to tum donon ki pitai kar ke rahunga….ek phone nahi karsakte yaar tum dono….kamal ke dost ho….he said frowning at them….
A: Abe kal hi tair hua….
J: Mujhe aaj subah pata chala….phir bhi hun na yahan….he said angrily….
