There are a lots of parameters related to why the baby cannot come into the picture....First and foremost, the risk and tension involved in having a young baby on the sets....second the unhealthy conditions of the set....third the disinterest of the lead in playing a pregnant woman(I don't know how much of this is true though).....And lastly the leads romance and the story henceforth coming to a standstill....

So the CVs have spun a nice spider web of baby bloopers in the show and all the baby loyalists are caught in it like flies and are now demanding an MC just to get disentangled. So, I would say well played CVs....
