DE-STRESS MANTRA 
Cooking,eating or just reviewing food,I love to do it all 

... says actress Shveta Salve on her love for food,travelling,reading and more 


Ilove to travel.Even if I get a quick day out or a weekend off,I make it a point to de-stress by travelling.I believe that our mind is constantly at work,no matter how much yoga you do.So I dont consider it a stress-buster,but travelling sure is.At least once a year,I make it a point to go on a long vacation.Cooking is also a stress-relief for me.I never shy away from cooking and whenever I get the time,I make it a point to cook.If given a chance to opt for a cook-out with a friend,I oblige without hesitating.
I am an avid movie buff.I also watch a lot of TV shows.If not every day,I make it a point to catch up on some fun movie at home every alternate day.I take to reading quite a lot.Be it non-fiction or fiction,if theres a book that grabs my attention,I get hooked on to it.Books are a great companion while travelling.
I love cooking and eating too.Be it cooking,eating or just reviewing food,I love to do it all.Partying for me is not out of choice,my profession demands socialising.But yes,a dinner or going out for drinks with friends once in a while is always on the cards.
Lately,I have taken to photography.I love clicking pictures and working on the same.I like singing as well.I am a passionate dancer and dancing is spiritual for me.I feel elevated,relaxed and rejuvenated after a session of dance.
De-stressing is like youre recharging your batteries.Not only does it reflect well on your skin and hair,but also reflects on your overall health and makes you feel and look good.Our lives are so hectic and theres so much competition all around us.Everybody is running to be number one in this fast-paced life.Earlier,going to a spa would be a luxury.But nowadays,any mode of de-stressing has become a necessity,considering the stressful lifestyle that most people have,can hamper their health to a great extent.Its important to calm your mind.It is important to pause,take a deep breath and take a walk so you can relax at least for a while.
Every individual is different.Whatever helps you de-stress,go for it.Spend time with your family and loved ones.Switch off those TV sets,keep your cell phones on silent and just relax;sit,eat and have fun with your dear ones.Thats what matters.
