A lot happened today's epi unlike the usual slow pace of the show. 😃
Chedi goes on his trip. The family sends him off happily. All is well. Pashu and Cedhi are back to bickering but this time Chedi says that he has now learned to trust his sons to be able to manage the business and his DIL to take care of the home.
At the store, Pashu, Tej and Ved are happy that "hitler" is not there but Pashu's lawyer comes to see them. The lawyer asks Pashu if he has had any thoughts about the 3 lakh issue. Pashu says he has no idea what to do. Lawyer tells them again that court only looks at evidence and they have no proof that they gave the money as they gave in cash and Malti's family sent a draft so they have proof that they gave the money. So we can't prove that we loaned them the money. Pashu says that day Malti's cousin had come to take the money from him and maybe that boy will testify for them as he seemed to understand the gravity of the situation and understood that Pashu was helping them. But Pashu doesn't know where that boy is now and how to find him as he has not met anyone in Malti's family in ages.
Malti and her mom are out shopping and her mom is frustrated that Toasty is not picking up her calls. Malti tells her to stop forcing Toasty to meet her and its no use. Malti's mom then thinks of Sudha and says she'll talk to Toasty's mom. Malti tells her not to as there is no need to involve all these people. Malti's mom instigates her says that Pashu is happily enjoying picnic with his family and here you are in this state and no one can tell whether you are married or widowed. Malti gets upset and tells her mom to stop (btw Malti is still wearing mangalsutr and sindoor). She says that Pashu is not enjoying himself either and she saw sadness in his eyes the day they met. She says she doesn't know when it all started going wrong between them and who to blame but she just wants to get this over with and she (malti's mom) shouldn't make matters worse by involving other people. Malti's mom thinks that Malti has gone soft and if she gives up then all the work she has done will go to waste. She sends Malti away to get water and thinks of calling Sudha.
back at home, Toasty brings tea for everyone and Pashu asks her if she has a problem with resting as she is just coming off a fever. Toasty tells him that she does have a problem. Ved asks why the tea tastes wierd and she says the milk was burnt. Toasty takes Tej aside and asks what is wrong with Pashu as he didn't say anything about the bad tea. Tej tells her about the lawyer's visit. Toasty tells Tej to take Ved away and she'll talk to Pashu.
Toasty tells Pashu that when you worry about something and don't find a solution you should stop thinking about it for some time and give it a rest. Pashu asks what she is talking about then he realizes that Tej can't keep a secret. Toasty tells him that she got it out of Tej and not to go after him. She tells him that she once heard a dialoge in a movie that was really good. From Jaagte Raho (Raj Kapoor) that means, if you are honest and doing the right thing then you don't have to fear the world as nothing bad will happen. Pashu says what more bad could happen. Toasty tells him he is right, as nothing worse could happen so now its time that better things will happen. When you have nothing left to loose then its time to start gaining.
Pashu is impressed. She tells him that hey are all with him and Pashu says that he wishes Malti also said that to him "I am with you". He asks Toasty what was she thinking when she married into this family. Toasty says that first only thought about her and Tej and that she'd want to stay with Tej her whole life and if it was with his family then thats where she'd live. But then after meeting the family she felt that its such a cute family and she wanted to be their "dulaari" and have all their love and share her joys with them. Pashu says that he wished Malti felt the same about his family. He wanted her to be the mother of this family and thats what Chedi told her too but she just couldn't understand the importance of that role. Toasty says that you couldn't make her understand. Pashu tells her that she always had complaints and he couldn't give her enough time of the day. The little time that he could give her could only be enough to either hear her complaint or make her understand. Toasty asks what she had so much to complain about. Pashu is about to answer when he stops and tells Toasty why she has to ask about so much detail.
Suddenly a ball hits their window and Pashu goes out yelling. A few teenage boys come to get the ball and Pashu yells at them for calling him uncle. The boys say that if he had gotten married on time he would have had young boys like them for a son so its not wrong to call him uncle. Tej pacifies Pashu and gives them the ball back and they tease Pashu again calling him uncle. Tej and Toasty laugh. Toasty asks Tej how he would feel if they called him uncle. Tej says that she is the one who would feel bad as she would be aunty then. (funny laugh by Tej).
Sudha is with Toasty's friends (these girls don't have their own home?) Sudha is organizing her clothes and an envelope falls down which she doesn't notice. Dimple comes and complains how her red top has lost its color from the chlorine water. She curses Prachin for throwing her in the pool. Nikita and the other friend (forgot name) tease that these days she talks only about Prachin and if something is cooking. Dimples get irritated and fights with them. They tease that maybe they should send her to that house too as Toasty will get company. Sudha says "no way" one daughter is enough and she tells them to go if they want. The phone rings and Sudha asks one of the friends to pick it up (gosh i can't remember her name😡).
Its Malti's mom on the other side. Malti's mom thinks its Sudha on the other side and introduces herself as Pashu's MIL. the friend remembers Toasty talking about how she met Malti's mom and she makes excuses as if its wrong number. Malti's mom thinks that Sudha is crazy person and hangs up. Malti comes back with water bottle and asks her mom who she was talking to again. She makes excuse that she was tlakign with her uncle but Malti is suspicious.
At night Toasty's dad happens to see the envelope that fell and picks it up and remembers that it was a letter that came during Toasty's wedding and reads it. IT was from malti's mom warning Toasty to not get married into Chaturvedi family. Toasty's dad is shocked.
