It has all the ingredients of a gharelu soap ' a perfect, devout bahu, a loving husband, a big joint family and kitchen politics, but Choti Bahu stands out for being a serial that attempts to do something unique in its format. For one, the serial in its second season has the same lead pair ' Dev and Radhika, the quintessential soulmates, but the story is different. And how! If the first season had the pair dealing with earthly conflicts, the second, actually brings the Gods and asuras down to earth, among its devotees. The constant feature in Radhika's life, besides Dev, has always been her devotion to Lord Krishna, and it is this faith that gets tested in the second season. When Radhika is almost killed by her bestie, Lord Krishna comes to his devotee's rescue. In the time that Radhika recovers, Krishna impersonates her in her household. Giving him company is his brother Balram as a local village boy. It's fun to see the character oscillate between his Divinity and a mortal avatar, and the little tricks he plays on those around him. But if the Gods can live among the mortals, can the devil be far behind. And so we have the asuras (demons) and possessions taking place. Currently, the track has Lord Krishna's beloved Radha testing Radhika's faith. A quaint track, but treated fairly well. The serial's lead pair, Rubina Dilaik and Avinash Sachdev do a commendable job. It also helps that the pair has taken its reel romance off-screen as well. Is it a family bonder? Of course, it is especially when you actually have Gods doing their bit in taking the story forward. |

Tellybuzz brings to you the new Wednesday column on Actor's reaction towards the craziest rumors they have heard about themselves. This week we have caught up Rubina Dilaik who is playing the lead on Zee Tv's popular show Chhoti Bahu - Sawar Ke Rang Rachi.
Like all other celebrities, Rubina has also come across encountered crazy rumors about herself. Let's see what is the rumor all about as Rubina shares it with us.
Rubina said - "The craziest rumor that I have ever heard about myself was that Avinash Sachdevand I are married. Both of us had a very good laugh at this rumor when we came to know about it. Avinash advised me to take this rumor lightly."
Rubina further added, "If the person behind spreading such rumors is happy then let him/her enjoy doing so. But I would like to advise all other celebrities who have to face such rumors, to take such rumors lightly and move ahead. Once an arrow is released from a bow, then it can't go back to it. So, let it go where it has to go and keep moving. Avinash and I have a good laugh whenever we think about it."

Rubina Dilaik: It has to be Avinash Sachdev. We have a lot of
fun, keep poking each other, fight over silly arguments and yet can't live without
each other.We are best of friend like Tom and Jerry who fight but yet are
always together.

Chhoti Bahu - Sawar Ke Rang Rachi has been on air for more than a year and there was a lot speculation regarding its running on television. Rumors were afloat of it being shifted to 6:30pm slot but now it is reported that it will breathe its last on 18th May.
The slot will not be left vacant as it going to be replaced by the new show 'Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke'. The new show is a comedy show about two girls who hail from starkly opposite cities of India.
